In honor of the show's 25th anniversary, I collaborated with several Ed-Heads to create this comic dub!

I kind of like how the comic manages to look vintage, almost like a vintage Archie Comics feel, like something from before the comic industry became totally dominated by gritty stories. It really speaks to how the show was produced largely using pen and paper, and how the show had a saturated comedic style despite being produced during a time when cartoons were seemingly headed down the same as comics, with many animation studios of the era increasingly starting to experiment with darker storylines like with Batman Beyond, and even with horror comedy like Courage the Cowardly Dog and the Gregory Horror Show. Edit: Yes, I'm aware I'm over-analyzing this, just like I do with a lot of things.

@@themasterofcommentsandrese4351 There aren't many, but a few episodes I can immediately name that fit into that category are the episodes "Dawn of the Eds," and "Pop Goes the Ed." There's also "The Day The Ed Stood Still," and "Little Ed Blue."

I think I remember some of the details included in this comic having been applied to at least one episode plot Wouldn't put it past me to learn some of these comics actually predated episode production and were modified to better fit the definition of "child-friendly television" at the time Especially since that was the case with a fair chunk of the comics that were drawn up for Dexter's Laboratory

I have been working with my pal on “Ed Boys Last Scam” for 5 years now and I have been providing all the voices, including Eddy. Whoever is doing Eddy’s voice here should’ve been used for Eddy in the Ed boys last scam project; the guy doing this voice is way better than me.
