Great interview. It was so nice to see a married couple who never interrupted each other, smiled and laughed easily, and enjoyed time together and apart. A strong marriage. And of course, Panama sounds very interesting.

Yet another great video by Jackie Lang & Co ! Great interview with Bob & Linda! We have visited several places in Panama and have recently gotten our permanent resident Visas now . We visited El Valle de Anton & Coronado the first week in December '22 and truly loved it there in both locations. We could easily see ourselves at either place. I think it is great advice to just rent instead of buying just in case anything comes up that you might need to return back to your home country for any reason.. Linda's advice about "chill" is excellent advice as well. Just don't get too excited about things and just relax and go with the flow.......It'll add years to your life to eliminate the stress as well! 😊👍

the name 'Truckee' came from a 'Paiute Native' guide , who would greet the new Settlers by saying "Tru-kay" , meaning "everything is going to be all right" , in other words , "Chill" = Tranquilo .

Hello Panama Relocation Tours! You of course focus on American expats. I always hear them talk about Medicare and health insurance. But I wonder, is there a video already or could Jackie speak about health insurance when somebody relocates from Europe? How would that work? It's probably not as easy to fly back to Europe if you had a medical emergency. Would the European Health card suffice? Or how would things then work? Should I take out private insurance in Panama instead? I'm unsure, it would be really interesting to know.

Would a single retired female fit into this community and is there a beach nearby that is calm enough for swimming?
@PanamaRelocationTours2 жыл бұрын
La Barqueta is not a good swimming beach. There are really bad rip tides. San Carlos or Bocas del Toro would be better for swimming.
@andreaadams54012 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I will look into San Carlos. I think Bocus will be more of a vacation place for me rather than full time living.

Thanks so much for sharing. What's the hottest it gets there on the beach?
@brian19882 жыл бұрын
It gets very hot and humid anywhere at sea level in Panama. Just put Guarumal, Panama into WeatherBug. It's also a black-sand beach which absorbs rather than reflects heat. Playa La Barqueta is bearable in the early to mid-morning, then again late in the afternoons. It's beat-down hot at other times. Having said that, it is a very nice beach. In past years, we've stayed in the same condos the couple are in and a couple of the single family homes in the Villa side.
