Sorry about the flight stick image I placed in the wrong spot on the video. Was such a mammoth upload I am just going to leave it. Enjoy the video everyone :)

 @LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Oh no his poor wallet!😆. Well it is a great time to get into/back into flight sims whether combat or civilian. Also I can imagine after a few flights in your set up (or even a single flight) someone would be hooked! You've got a really awesome set up too m8, you obviously have a big passion for flight sims & sim gaming in general & it shows with the dedication that you must of had to get such a set up done. Not just financially but also time wise to get the whole thing set up & working & then again on top to learn all the aircraft etc. & create videos. I will have to keep an eye on your progress with the sim pit, the Rhino & the channel in general. This sort of video is really great not just for entertainment content but also it helps us with the Rhino learn more about what effects & settings will help with realism vs immersion. Also ppl with other FFB bases plus the upcoming Moza & Winwing bases will be able to get something out of it too. Those are something I'm really excited about, it's about time FFB came back to the mainstream market! My Rhino will always be kept not just for the low serial No. but cause it's just special to be & also the hard work & support that VPforce has put into the product & it's software. The community support with the Rhino is also massive! in fact we all know that certain members of the community have put in dozens & dozens of hours into making the software better & likely just as much time again helping the community with support. Great work on the video m8 & I'll look out for the next! 🦏🦾

@PiNKMuDSimGaming thank you mate for the kind words, really happy you are liking the videos 😁, It's been a long labour of love, I just can't believe how lucky we are, to have access to this technology, blows my mind. Plus the incredibly smart people and the power of the community to create the software to drive it, and help each other to create these epic set-ups. 😁

I built a FFB stick and yoke with big servo kits from VPforce, they feel excellent and have plenty of power for any aircraft. All the best.

@seattime4075 Oh mate, that is epic. Is there any chance you can share the plans for the housing and specific motors on the VPforce site you purchased? I'm going to do a video in some months on a DIY build from them, and this sounds just like what I want to do 😁

@@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Have no plans (normally just some rough sketches), there are some videos on my channel of the finished builds. Used 86BLF04 x2 + USB kits for both the yoke and stick builds.

Really appreciate the fact that you had a real pilot testing and giving feedback! This further validates the Rhino, it's software and how good it replicates real world. Makes me that much more confident that I'll be please with it. Now I wait 😬😅 That cat launch 😂

Amazing mate and really happy the video helped you have confidence in the Rhino, that was really my intention. I searched online for ages when I was first looking into getting one and there was only a very small amount of content covering it. I have some more videos coming soon :)

Well that's torn it. Gunna have to rescue my motion sim thats been sitting outside at Mums place in Yeppoon for the last four years. Full refurb on the cards. Just finished building the Rhino. Great experience with the DIY kit and Bambu printer. Very straight forward with great detailed instructions. Highly recommend if anybody is on the fence about it especially considering the order delay. Nice to hear the feedback from a pilot and nice to see the smile on his face as he took it through its paces. Great video keep up the good work...subbed.😊

Oh mate that's awesome, the Bambu is an amazing printer. I'm tempted to have a crack at building a DIY just for the experience 😊. You will have to let us know how you go once the rig is up and running again. Thank you so much for the sub, was really great to have a real pilots perspective, was such a great experience.

Is Buttkicker(under seat) necessary for flight sims? I have p1000 haptic motors and only these seem enough with Rs mega for sim racing.
@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs
@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Ай бұрын
Great question. Honestly, since the new Simhub motion support dropped, the need for Buttkickers for sim racing is not as critical. They will still add an extra layer of realism, but just not as much as before. Simhub with the RSmega is an amazing combination. The ability for the software to make the motion actuators vibrate, feel road rumble, and engine RPM is truly. game-changing. Unfortunately, there's no flight sim support to drive the motion platform with Simhub, yet. The Buttkickers fill in what's missing, missile launches, gun firing, wind buffeting, engine RPM and so on. I have 1 buttkicker mounted under my seat and foot peddles. Hope this helps answer your question 😊

HI 😇🇫🇷👍🏻 Thank you so much for this excellent vidéo . I receveid my #Rhino next week . A little question : At #15mn 58s -I find that the position of your joystick is too low compared to a real modern or WW2 plane. The base of the joystick should be in my humble opinion at the height of your thighs so that your hand falls on your joystick. Your arm in profile should be parallel to the height of your thighs. And so your hand, your arm does not dip between your thighs, because this gives too short a travel. We see the correct height by seeing the hand position of a Bae Thyphoon pilot or an A10C II. Thank you for your excellent video. My #Rhino is arriving next week, your test made my mouth water as they say in a French proverb. Cordially /Laurent 🇫🇷😇😇

Oh, fantastic mate, you are going to absolutely love it, im sure. Please let us know how you go 😊 I'm pretty comfortable with the stick height currently, although it could be raised perhaps a few more mm, perhaps 10-20. Really glad you liked the video and thank you very much for subscribing and posting your thoughts 😁

What head tracking are you using?
@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs
@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Ай бұрын
@GapeGang Tobii 5 head and eye tracker. Works incredibly plus, works flawlessly in very low light. I can turn all the lights off in the room, which helps with immersion. Keep in mind you though, with my 55" monitor eye tracking really does not work that well. Head tracking works great.

@@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Thanks. Torn between that and the TrackiR5, currently using a Ps3 eyecam with Opentrack AI (facetrack), actually works surprisingly well, just not a fan of losing 5-10fps on flight sim when I'm already at 30fps!

@GapeGang I can't really comment on the Track IR. However, I believe you have to wear a tacker unit on your head, that just didnt seem like what I wanted to do. I searched high and low on the internet and settled on the Tobii5. Mark from youtube.com/@SimHangerFS is a legend in this regard, not to mention all of his videos are brilliant and informative. He shows a brilliant how-to video that made me pull the trigger on the Tobii. Check it out here if you've not seen it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZfHmpSed6ynapIsi=Fh3Yv9gzn5UmyjnV
