There is really a big contrast between the city life and the province life. But if you prefer a more serene, quiet and greenery environment just like myself, I would still choose to live in the province and going to the city will just be a visit. Safe travels! ✈️

My mother was born in Dasmarinas but raised in Cavite City near Sangley Pt. She emigrated to the US when she was 12. She retired with my adoptive American father 25 years ago in Angeles. She passed in 2015 but my father has remained in Angeles. I joined him here a few years ago.

She is getting so big! I haven’t watched youtube much for a while. Your daughter has been to more countries than I have. What a life she will live. Miss watching your vlogs. Well, you went and did it. I live in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. I lived in Cavite city for 5 years or so back in the 60’s right up until they were about to close Sangley Point as a US Navy base. I was stationed there. Have not been back since I left. You have now peaked my curiosity to a point that I will put it in my calendar for a trip. Since I don’t know anyone that I know of living there, perhaps I could meetup with your Dad, or maybe some other that commented about living there now. It would be so much more of a productive trip if I had some contacts and connections. I would love to see if anything is still standing from the old days, and just run the memories through my head. I am going back to the USA NEXT WEEK FOR 2 months for my Dr. Appointments for what I call my refurbishment. I Have body parts that need some attention, lol. When I get back will try to contact you about my visit. Let me know what you think about it.

in our area, we organize clean-up Drive, there are plenty of volunteers, and those volunteers are not from Locale but from nearby towns and some are from nearby provinces.. the people that join depending how wide is the call. I noticed may be 20-30% the trashes in our shores are not from Philippines because items/products are not usually bought from local grocery stores.

Your dad Sasha is really a champion og adoptations to the Filipino culture and trsditions. Maybe he is living hid life to the fullest here in the Philippines and it is very admirable. He temper which is so relax about the horrendous traffic in Manila is really amazing. He has a lot of friends and maybe active in the community talking to a lot of people is very commendable that expats should learn from him.

Jeepneys won't be phased out. Only the older once will be phased out. There will be newer types of jeepneys but still the traditional looks but newer engines and the door willl be near the driver and higher ceiling. There will also be an electric trip. The minibus that they called modern jeepney that's a scam made by the previous government.

I totally agree with you Holding onto investments can be beneficial, but it's even better to invest with a professional who understands the market. They can help you avoid potential losses and make informed decisions. It's always wise to seek guidance from experts in the field.

You're absolutely right Investing with a professional who understands the market can be a wise decision. They have the knowledge and expertise to guide you and help minimize the risk of losing money.
