I mean, retiring at 56 sounds great, but the longer your money stays invested, the more it compounds. It's one of those things where the earlier you stop, the less potential for growth, right?

Yeah, but it also depends on how well your portfolio is structured. I've seen people retire early and still grow their wealth, but it's all about having the right strategy in place. If you don't, you could be leaving a lot of money on the table.

That's what l'm worried about too. I've been hearing about people who stop working early and then run into issues because they didn't account for how much they'd need down the road. Healthcare costs, unexpected expenses... it adds up

The biggest question is whether your current investments are working hard enough for you. I ended up talking to a CFP, and it changed the way I look at my retirement plans

Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve been managing my portfolio on my own, but it hasn’t been working out well. Do you have any recommendations for a reliable investment advisor? I could really use some help.

My CFA, Joseph Nick Cahill, is highly respected in his field. I recommend looking him up online-you’ll find all his credentials and details about his expertise. With many years of experience, he’s a great resource for navigating the complexities of the financial market.

I spent 5 years living in Panama. Being aware of Panama's history, I was aware of the fact Panama had previously had dictators. The U.S. never thought this was a problem. But when the U.S. had problems in Nicaragua, it suddenly became interested in Panama. I am speculating, but I think the U.S. conducted military operations against Panama because Panama would not support any operations against Nicaragua. Reagan ended up hiring mercenaries he called "Freedom Fighters".

US fooled Panama area independent from Columbia. Similar strategy by support Singapore. Country own sea traffic choke point as weak as possible.

The US waited for ten years because they feared out of political weaknesses after Vietnam. This is why they established the Military School of the Americas in which Panamanian military members were trained. Ironically, the US always brings to life their own threats.

Let it be a warning to thise who challenge America's might we own Panama it needs to be another US state, forget about subtlety we must take empire moves and secure the canal and use it to charge all shipping that goes thru it. All revenue the canal produces is ours we built it and must take it back.
