@Tricky Gym Hey Andrew, I got a question. A rainbow energy reads you can use it as any type of BASIC energy, and since there were no BASIC Darkness energy in this format, it doesn't seem to make sense that you can use a rainbow energy for Darkness energy right? O_o

Lol why not attach focus band before placing chaos gym? I mean I can understand the lass after, cause he still wants the chaos gym up, but the focus band after chaos gym just made no sense XD

Mahone, any thoughts about creating a customized ban list for the next time you do this tournament? You could specifically ban cards that are more luck based to see what new strategies would evolve. This format would be so fun if it didn't require a coin flip to decide every action.

I'm pretty new to Pokemon so maybe someone can explain, what is he trying to get heads for Cleffa's attack for? At around 5:06 he says "he tries to Eeeek again here but just doesn't get it" and then rolls a dice. Cleffa's attack says nothing about heads or tails for the attack? It literally just says shuffle and draw 7.

It's because he is attacking another Baby. All Baby Pokémon have a rule that you need to get heads in order to attack them.

right - whenever a pokemon tries to attack into a baby pokemon (even a non damaging attack like eek) it requires a flip. its called the "baby" rule

The way that Chaos Gym's effect is written is so weird and confusing compared to modern cards.
