At the time this came out, the media was calling it a "rape simulator". It was pretty evident that no-one commenting had actually seen or played it. It's crap, and it's sleazy, but it's not a fucking rape simulator. It's still brought up occasionally by feminists, along with Custer's Last Stand and GTA, but it's a media invention that has become dogma, as much as the "kid goes crazy playing Dungeons and Dragons" fabrication that became the Tom Hanks movie "Monsters and Mazes" or those "cop killer" Black Rhino bullets. Just one of those things that never happened, that everyone remembers.

Oh Man haha Night Trap. Game totally sucks lol. This game, Mortal Kombat & Lethal Enforcers were the reason the ESRB rating system was created in 1993 here in the USA. There was a whole senate committee hearing and everything with the execs from Sega and Nintendo testifying on live TV the same way Zuckerberg does now every other year. Its pretty amusing. They cherry picked and demoed the offensive parts of each game on one of those wheel in televisions with the CRT. Such a great laugh looking back.
