Hey. I'm working in a place that has this machine and I'm making digitalization of 8mm and super 8mm with this model, but one thing that "kills me" is the low resolution and pixelized image, after the export. The image is not good and the exportation shows a saturated image and with gamma gap. Someone can help me find the best settings to export the image? Note: i'm working in manual!

Thanks for the quick answer! Yes, when i refered "working in manual", it's the auto/manual exposer. No, the monitor is good (one of them its a iMac), i tried in 2, but the "result" was the same. The image, after the exportation it's bad, with grain and low quality...but when i see at the same time that was scanning (inside the program, retroscan universal HD), the image it's pretty good..

Hello! After a while we get the settings right and now the images are good. However, during the time that we had spent on digitalization, we saw a "problem" on the movies. When the machine is on digitalization mode, in the screen preview we can see a small blur. The problem is that when we turn the knob to change the focus manually the image is still not full focused, usually ONLY ONE of the sides is fine. Do you have that issue? What will be the solution? I'm doing something wrong? Maybe, is because the camera's lens is fish eye?

@@irakunita1994 Sorry I just read this post. I've had no problems at all with focus etc. I am about to purchase a Mark II

Hi Tim, Thank you for posting this. I am thinking about purchasing this and was wondering how well this audio reading software worked. It sounds a little muffled but a lot of these films sound like this. Have you done many sound transfers like this?

Thanks for the comments. I'm sure the poor audio audio is simply do to the age of the film and being a PSA a small budget used , and the quality restrictions of the era of production of the original film. Of course I didn't tweak the audio either. I've done several films in this fashion with great results.
