I came for the audio. .... but stayed for the video. Top notch, all the way. The set design is just right. Well done. It's from my rumpus room growing up. 1975 Central Wisconsin.

I don't know how I found this channel, but i'm very glad I did. I'm not even 50 yet but i can hear all this music in my head. My parents were older when they had me, so as a kid our house was full of Mancini and Bacharach and the 5th Dimension on the stereo, or the 'beautiful music' channel on the radio. And I know I heard these exact recordings in a mall in Pittsburgh in the 70s. Plus, the tech of these old Seeburg systems is really cool! Thank you so much for all these videos! (I think I see a Stylophone in there somewhere...)

GOLD ! I was watching the ''Dead Mall Series'' just to enjoy old mall music ... Time was everywhere you went had music - from the elevators to the courtyards - quiet gentle music in the background just loud enough for perception, but under the tone of conversation. Probably contains subliminal 'Buy More' and 'Enjoy Shopping' encouragements ! :-D

A lot of this sounds like The Stan Reynolds Orchestra stuff from the 1960s. He had a fairly good selling Christmas album. It’s on Spotify, but in the USA it was released as The Monterey Brass - Christmas Brass. The similarities are striking.

Hi I wanted to say thank you for the videos you update on this channel. I am neuro divergent and have been struggling with uni work and other learnings. I know you aren't uploading this music for study back ground music but interestingly the music you have here are the best ones for me when it comes to concentration while learning and studying!! I am 1990er so not really familiar but I like it. I generally like "retro" thing. This kind of music gives me fun butterflies that I want to keep it in the background and I can even kind of sing along sometimes but not to the extent of interrupting my brain at all !!! I can keep going for really long time and this occasion is for me really hard to find the combinations it works. Once again thank you sooo much! I will be following your update and looking forward to feel the different era I never knew. ❤ Have a good day!
