@Justin-Vorhees it was so cool! Universal Studios florida has gone all in on 80s movies, their classic horror and everything that goes with it! They are going to have a retro movie parade in the park now that is all about Ghostbusters, back to the future, jaws, Beetlejuice, jurrasic park, and classic universal monsters ...they are building a whole land in their new park in florida called "dark universe" that is all classic monsters themed with Frankenstein castle, Wolfman roller coaster and all kinds of stuff!! They are going to be carrying more physical media in their gift shops and a lot more! This is the tribute to all that, and I thought it was awesome!

Oh, man. I worked at a mom and pop video store my first two years in college, '87-'89. It was the best job I've ever had; I was really in my environment. I was the go-to guy for 'old' movies when customers wanted something other than the new releases. Parts of the store resembled this one...good memories.

We were supposed to go to universal and Disney in 2020 April but the world stopped and we just canceled our plans and never went back. It's probably even more expensive now. I really want to go to super Mario Land now. And the universal monster stuff. It's supposed to be finished next year so maybe I'll make a trip down there. That's a really cool pop-up store.

I drive down there from Georgia a lot and started covering the parks for fun on youtube about a year and a half ago - Universal is definitley the more cost-friendly park overall but I love going to both - I am a theme park junkie- it is an extension of my physical media/movie/pop culture love lol... and universal's Halloween Horror Nights is EPIC!

I live in WV so it's a journey for me. I'll fly down hopefully next year. Maybe in the fall. Wait till September when the kids go back to school and it's less crowded. I just wanted to go to Star Wars land and build my own lightsaber etc. Universal had more stuff I was interested in.
