This was a great year for arcade gaming. I remember TMNT was still hot and this came out shortly thereafter. Never before had we played games that were so true to the fan lore than at this time, I pumped countless coins into these coin-ops, lost count of how many.

For this generation she's the equivalent. I grew up in the 80s, so I know how huge Jackson was and it was before the internet and social media. Moonwalker was such a strange & quirky video game that it actually worked. It played upon Michael’s super heroic image and his dance moves. It even created a combat style that was inspired by his dance moves. I know that Michael has been criticized for seeming really weird in real life but in this game, Michael actually becomes a hero.
