I’m the same. I just love them. They’re a fun part of my Christmas traditions now along with all my fave holiday movies and music. They take me right back to being a kid, when the Christmas commercials started it was always so exciting cuz you knew Christmas was on its way. I especially love the ads for toys that I actually asked for and got. So nostalgic.

No way!!! Another one? I’m so excited! These compilations became a part of my Christmas tradition years ago. I have them playing in the background wven when I’m not watching! I probably have them on as much as Christmas music. I’ve turned my friends onto them too. It’s all about that nostalgia! Thanks so much for another one!!! ❤

2000s is about where commercials went downhill. Lack of imagination and everyone scared of offending someone. From 2000 on, the commercials just grate on your nerves.

Lol no it wasn’t, some things just get old like companies that went out of business and the ideas are based on the ceos that they highered. Also what is left? There is no toys r us anymore, they don’t make toys like pound puppies anymore. Things changed with companies because it’s nothing like it use to be based on product. also nothing offensive. Again people cut out marketing these days.

​@@Jesuscares7680Exactly! Everything! I was born in 1967. So my childhood growing up was during the 70's, and my teenage years were the 80's. I can remember that food tasted better back then, soda tasted better, television shows were much much better, and movies were SO MUCH BETTER AS WELL! Sports broadcasts were also superior in quality to the crap that they show now. The NFL Today during the 70's was far superior to nowadays broadcasts and as far as Monday Night Football goes? It's not even close. So when you said everything was better, it truly was!

I really miss RadioShack! Me and my husband are first Christmas as husband and wife in 1994 had a RadioShack credit card and brought all of are nephews and niece's on both side if the family presents from there! 😢

I guess I had no idea the phrase ' this Holiday season ' instead of Merry Christmas, was used back in the mid 80's, I thought it was used in the early 2000's so it didn't offend people who didn't celebrate Christmas.

Thanks so much! So many Christmas memories! Remember the 7up Undeer? ( "Hi sleighbell lovers! You just think I am sitting here warming my hoofies, wrong-o. I sure do miss these old commercials. Has anyone but me noticed lately that a great majority of TV commercials these days feature a dog - regardless of whether or not the product being advertised has anything to do with dogs? From cleaning products to insurance and everything in between. It's become a cliche. What's even worse are commercials for prescription drugs showing people walking around in garish work-out clothing having conversations about their health problems - and of course at least one of them is walking a dog. Particularly offensive are the ones that show overweight bald guy strolling around carrying a clipboard and high fiving everyone he meets along the way for no discernible reason whatsoever.

The M&M's ad with fainting 🔴 and 🎅 is classic and funny. I can understand 🔴 fainting because is Santa real or not? St. Nicholas was a real person, but Santa, not if you're 10 and older. But Santa fainting at that brand of candy, like seriously you don't have a Walmart Super Center or a Rhodes at the North Pole?

We love non SJW commercials. These commercials from the past wanted you to buy their product. They were not telling you to sleep with someone of your same sex or marry a different race. Just buy their product and do what you want on your own time.
