Why this series along with other ADV films titles (ex. Sorcerer Hunters, Blue Seed) weren’t show on the pre-Toonami [adult swim] is beyond me. MSN should’ve been aired in the spring of 2006 on [AS] replacing Neon Genesis Evangelion. It seems to me like Williams Street had atychiphobia when showing ADV content. All they ever had was Super Milk Chan and Neon Genesis Evangelion. We should’ve had more. That is my complaint with the pre-Toonami [AS], the lack of airing stuff by ADV Films due to the fear of a ratings failure.

Only a small section was changed for English localization ( for instance one character's bad Japanese puns were replaced with groan inducing sex jokes) and it still fits the characters.

Sigh... its annoying that this show is being compared to evangelion by video content creator when it has not even one ounce of resemblance to evangelion besides the english VA playing the protagonist. The story is not even close. Its more similar to the original Gundam than evangelion.

You weren't alive back then probably. It was released not long after NGE and was an emotionally relaxing watch after the mindfuck of NGE TV ending. Yes it is alot more lowbrow than NGE and probably does resemble Gundam more in some ways, but it was genre successor to NGE on Teleto.

@@godsama959 brah... I know my nadesico. I had been a fan of nadesico ever since it first was imported back in the 90s. I went through the 90s. I am an old person. I watched reruns of this series, in japanese... latino america spanish, and American english. more than 10 times. Nadesido has NOTHING similar to NGE. NOTHING. Want me to bring you the list of comparison (NGE vs Gundam on Nadesico) I posted to the other idiot who began saying that Nadeisco is a NGE clone, thanks to RetroCrush's misguidance?
