Hi! good tutorial! though i have a question . maybe other people knows handy tips as well. At 13:26, you were about to remove the purple slide lock. I see that you nearly break the hinge (top part) after pulling it out. How exactly did you pull it out? there is no space to insert something to lift it outwards I see. maybe somebody knows the best way to dit this?

I removed it Using a screwdriver but I can’t put it back because the new cable was bigger than the others and the purple plastic can’t be fitted back. Anyway, I had no issues because of that.

Hello just retrofit my camera and its all good everything working fine but having lost communication with reductant contol module and Im not able to delete that error. Pins 12 and 30 original cables are they should be still connected in that socket with camera ones or just camera cables? Thanks

Hi! Original cables from PIN 12 and 30 should also be at their position, in the same place with the camera cables. I also had those errors. Put back the cables, insert them in the same time with camera's cables and everything should be ok.

Mersi de feedback. Este prima mea masina care suporta camera pe sistemul original al mașinii și îmi doream. Nu e vb despre ce zic altii, aia era o gluma :) E utila. Mai ales la iesirea din parcare cu spatele. Are un unghi foarte foarte larg. nici nu trebuie sa ma mai uit in oglinzi sau sa intorc capul sa ma asigur.

I guess you can connect + wire anywhere if you have the proper fuse. Regarding J533 module, you need to take it out.

I reset mmi but nothing change. Month ago I also do paktronic retrofit in front and everything work without visualization on MMI. I dont what is problem with my MMI. I cant see image on mmi and also no visualization from parktronic. I have MMI High model with sim card and 2 usb. Can you help me??

@@MunteanuBogdan91 nici de gand nu as spine ca ii ceva gresit de la tine. Pur si simplu nu stiu ce nu ii in regula... Totul este pus si conectat si codat corect. Cu vcds pot gasi si accesa camera de retur si ii fara erori, deci daca vcds o gaseste si o poate accesa inseamna ca ii montat corect. Moi controlez o data totul si cu un aparat cu care pot cablul cap coada controla sa nu fie intrerupt...

Hello Bogdan, I have install an oem rear view camera on my A4 B9 Avant, coded it to your instructions but i'm not getting anything. OBD 11 won't let me code the 6c backup camera module, says there's no basic settings, Control Module not coded, No band end programming occurs, but does say Data Bus additional installations detected, have you any ideas what i'm missing?

Salut, in primul rand multumesc pentru tutorial. Am instalat totul cu succes prin videoclipul tău și totul a funcționat perfect iarna, deoarece vine vara și temperaturile sunt ridicate afară, camera nu îmi dă o poză pe ecran. Când mașina se răcește sau dacă este în garaj, funcționează fără probleme. Este posibil să fi întâlnit această problemă.

Nu-ti recomand sa-l activezi dacă nu ai maneta. Cateodata trage aiurea de volan, daca e drumul marcat prost sau vede el ceva aiurea și trebuie sa-l dezactivezi. Dacă n-ai maneta n-ai cum și e periculos.

Nice tutorial, I had some problems with the 12V connector that doesn't fit very well in the fuse box but made it at last. Just one question, I cannot see the guidelines on the reverse camera image. OBDeleven does not allow me to change 6C byte 7 options regarding those guidelines. Any idea on that??

@@ckw5822 Yes, but that is caused because the pin does not fit properly (mine was a bit bigger). I think I'm having some problems (sometimes the camera does not work or it's unstable) because of that poor connection. I'd recommend soldering it instead of changing the cable header...

@isti nagy It's solved for me. Grounding was not proper and I had to use a nut to the screw to make proper grounding. Also the 2020 has different cable to MMI than older models so having right cables solved it. It's working for me since few months now.

Hi. If you don’t have access to 6C Camera, check your 12V cable in the fuse box and in the camera plug as well. I don’t have the right coding for cars without PDC, but I think it’s similar.

Salutare, în august am schimbat passatul cu Audi A4 B9 din 2016 avînd o interfață vcds am zis să o probez dacă este compatibila cu A4, din prima fază la conectare ceva nu mergea se încărca greu anumite module nu le deschidea si tot așa intrând din unul în altul și-a mai revenit dar ceva am făcut ca am dezactivat funcția PRE SENSE cred ca eram în ceva adaptari nu stiu exact ce modul era, acum ca tot vizionez tot ce postezi si vad ca ai făcut multe modificări am zis ca poate gasim rezolvare la reactivarea funcției, ce zici se poate rezolva cu vcds. Mulțumesc.

În primul rand trebuie să-ți suporte calculatorul din ușă. Ai oglinzi rabatabile electric sau electrocromate? Dacă nu, inseamna ca ai modulul standard in usa și nu o sa reusesti. Dacă da, selecteaza oglinda din dreapta de pe usa și când bagi in R ar trebui sa mearga automat.

Folosesc o masina de gaurit / insurubat Bosch EasyDrill 1200, cu 2 acumulatori, 12 V, 1.5 Ah, un set de biți tot de la Bosch, un set de tubulare din Lidl și diferite adaptoare/prelungitoare pentru biți. Adaptorul la 90 grade este foarte util.

Păi sigur ai o codare greșită. Bagă înapoi codarea originală și reia procesul cu grijă. Ai senzori față+spate ca mine? Poate ai nevoie de altă codare.

@@brasovcostel păi foarte rău că nu ai făcut backup. codarea respectiva e in functie de ce module și dotări ai tu pe mașină... n-ai ce cod asemănător să găsești. fă backup la ce ai acum și mergi pe logică înapoi și debifeaza tot ce ai codat pentru camera. vezi dacă îți merg senzorii.. backup, backup, backup. poti strica multe.

Din păcate nu-mi permite timpul și nici simt că am suficientă experiență ca să umblu pe mașinile altora. Mă joc de ani buni cu diagnozele, dar mereu doar pe mașinile mele sau ale apropiaților. Niciodată pe mașinile pe care nu le cunosc. E riscant și mai bine mergi la cineva care în caz că se întâmplă ceva, este în stare și să repare rapid :)

Thank you for this great explanatory video. I have an Audi A4 B9 (Sedan) and I followed your video. I have two small problems after checking all the steps. 1) For the J533 module I don't quite understand the connections to be made. I removed the cable (original gray) from PIN 12 to put the one of the new camera (ORANGE and PURPLE). I also did the same for PIN 30 (original orange) to put the one of the new camera ORANGE and PURPLE. What should I do with the original cables? (Grey and Orange) 2) For programming: I use the VCDS. I was able to activate Module 19 Gateway and 5F Multimedia module but no information available in Module 09 Central Electrics (byte 38 because SOS button) I receive an error message from the program (No info). And for the 6C Rear View Camera (5F Multimedia module) I also receive an error message (no connection) I suppose related to the problem point 1 (J533). Thank you for your answer.

@@zohti Oh. Thanks. I ordered on alibaba, my car is a 19 a4 8w. It has SOS function - if it is that button on the roof. What is strange, that in the obdleeven the byte 35 exists, and I could set the 4 bit. I dont have park aid button, and literally nothing happens when I put the gear into reverse. And have no clue where to go :)

Buna ziua Bogdan am vazut tutorialul facut de tine este ffbine facut se vede ca te pricepi si iti place ce faci. Am cumparat si eu o camera fix de pe linkul postat de tine dar pentru un vw golf 7 2014 are si un modul Can iar cablajul si camera sunt diferite de ce ai montat pe masina ta, dealtfel asta pentru vw se monteaza in locul unei lampi a placutei de inmatriculare dar care are si becuri led impreuna cu camera ,. Nu am montato inca ca e frig afara ! am facut doar un montaj asa la rece cu cablurile prin interiorul masinii am conectato si in panoul de sigurante si pe un surub la masa pe caroserie dupaia in mufa quadlok, in mufa mica albastra de la MMI cu firul rosu la pin 6 iar firul negru la pin 12 dar nu are imagine , asta se datoreaza faptului ca nu am codato , daca o codez dupa pasii urmati de tine cu OBDeleven sau din aplicatii cu one-clik-apps va merge ?, ca aici ma cam depaseste problema, cand ai timp si dk vrei astept un raspuns de la tine dk ma poti ajuta cumva, multumesc frumos & mult suces in continuare.

Salut! Multumesc! Chiar dacă face parte din grupul VAG, sigur nu este identică instalarea și codarea. Diferă codarea și de pe un A4 pe altul, în funcție de anumite dotări, deci sigur nu vei putea coda urmând indicațiile mele, dar ele te pot ajuta să-ți faci o idee. Din ce înțeleg, ce ai luat tu este o cameră aftermarket. Cele originale nu vin cu becuri led. Poate ai noroc sa fie plug&play cu ajutorul acelui modul cu care vine camera. Ti-as recomanda sa discuti cu vanzatorul. Sigur are un PDF cu indicatii. Spor!

@@MunteanuBogdan91 Multumesc frumos pentru raspuns , camera pe care am luato a costat 85 $ a venit prin posta din Ungaria si mi-au aduso acasa prin posta Romana, cred ca e aftermarket ca cea originala se monteaza in locul manerului clapetei porbagajului practic se inlocuieste sigla vw cu una care are camera dar acea camera costa de trei ori mai mult decat ce am luat eu si tot nu e originala vw .Si da am contactat vinzatorul care a zis ca imi trimite un manual de instalare pe mail. Multumesc inca o data & sanatate maxima tuturor. Ps. daca nu te superi te voi tine la curent cu ce am fc. 👍
