@@AdrianDragan Hi, I took my right hand door panel off, right hand drive, to find the power wire for the heated mirror. I wanted to see if the 'myth' that the 'heated mirrors come on during a regeneration' was true. They do together with the heated rear screen. With the door panel off, I found a spare brown plug with 2 wires that run to the control switches, it was next to the 6 wire mirror plug. Today I fitted a fold back mirror, programmed the bsi and fitted a second hand mirror / window control with 'fold in' function button. It works. I am yet to do the left passenger side. I assume it does not need an extra plug because there is no temperature sensor on that side. I assume all the 6 wires will include a NS fold back mirror. I thought I would tell you since you helped with my cruise control. JB UK

Excellent video, thank you very much! There is no need to check brake pedal switch, it is always there. The clutch switch (with two wires) can be seen without removing the panel that covers the airbag for driver's knees (which is good as that panel is not easy to remove - was VERY tight in my car). I used 50% speed to see better all the details about using Diagbox.

This is great. Not completely the same in 9.85 that I have but it's great to understand what to do. I couldn't activate it in the BSI, config failure as it said. But tried to activate it in ECU only and then it worked as it should. Strange but now it works. Peugeot 308SW 2009.

@@AdrianDragan salutare. Tocmai ce am achizitionat un Citroen C2 din 2006, 1.4i (73 cp), cutie Sensodrive (robotizata). Ma bate gandul sa ii pun maneta de CC. Din moment ce este Sensodrive, banuiala mea este ca are atat switch-ul de frana cu 4 fire, dar si "click-ul" de la acceleratie (pentru kick down).

Thanks for the video. I followed the instructions and managed to get the cruise control working BUT there's no indication of this on the instrument cluster. I was wondering if there's an additional programming of the cluster to activate the cruise control function? Perhaps because the car in question (208) was sold in my country without CC even as an option.

Hello. theoretically it should also display on the dashboard, on that screen between the clocks. I looked at the user book and it appears that there are those icons for CC. I think something else would need to be activated on the dashboard, but I'm not sure. See your car's user manual if it explains how to use Cruise Control. If you didn't manual print it in the car, you can download it from here: public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ddb/index.html

@@aliiyadtedjini7792 lo explica muy bien, solo que en español, pone otra cosa en vez de configuración pero sí que lo pone de otra manera, pero tienes que al final encontrar lo mismo que le sale a él, comprueba que tienes los cables de freno y embrague y ya te digo que funciona perfectamente porque yo me he estado peleando muchísimo y al final lo he conseguido, gracias a este vídeo tiene que salirte las mismas pantallas o parecidas a las que le salen a el dependiendo de la versión del diagbox

Thank you for sharing this info, by chance did you also get to change the accelerator pedal (so that the limiter can be selected in BSI) to work the limiter? I'm currently working on my 2013 207sw

Hello. For the limiter to work you need the pedal with the "kickdown" function. But believe me you won't use the limiter (I never use it) and I don't think you want to spend money on something you won't use :)

Hi. It's exactly the same with the Peugeot 307, the only difference is that you have to cut the window from the steering column cover to insert the lever. Thanks :)

@@RizkiFikriansyah Yes it works fine, mine is from the same year! There are some small defiations though. First, when installing, like the video said, you have to cut a slit in the steeringwheel cover in order for it to fit properply. Secondely, the Diagbox differs a bit from the video, at least with mine. It occured at the end and didn't cause any troubles though and it was pretty straightforward how I had to continue. It works great and I use it quite often now! The installing and activation of the cruise control took about 15 minutes eventually. I hope this helped a bit, and have fun!

Hello. Use the 6-pin lever. Your car probably already have those switches on the clutch and brake pedal, you can visual check if your car has them.

Just did it in my 407 and cruise control works well. Limiter is not working cuz my acceleration pedal has no button. Now my next goai is to snipe a pedal with that button in a deacent price :)

Hello. I did not try to activate the functions without having the Cruise Control lever connected. But nothing is damaged if you try to activate without having the lever attached, if it doesn't work you will have errors that can be deleted.

Hello. Software activation can only be done with a software dedicated to your Fiat car, probably the original software. I'm not sure you can do this using the Diagbox software on your Fiat car.

Salutare. La modele mai noi (308) știu ca se poate, din pacate nu stiu daca și la 207 e posibil. Daca masina are ESP cred ca ar fi o șansă pentru ca să se poată activa aceasta opțiune.

I have 2009 Citroen C2 hdi. I installed the stalk control. I have not checked the pedal switches yet. My plastic cover has no cutout for the control. Was the C2 ever sold with this option? Can I buy the lower plastic cover with the correct hole?

Hello. If you had a place to put the lever for cruise control, it means that it is very likely that your car was also sold with cruise control from the factory. You can cut into the steering wheel cover for the lever.

It has a rod to send brake pedal onto left side of car and parts book shows brake switch is on left side away from pedals. I have not seen yet how many wires on brake switch. In urma acestui video, care pe aceasta cale ti-o multumesc, am comandat si eu o maneta de pilot automat, masina mea neavand din fabrica, iar cateodata avand drumuri lungi, am considerat ca este o idee buna ce ai facut, si am dorit si eu sa am pilot automat. Am comandat maneta, am comandat echipamentele cu care pot activa pilotul automat, insa, CD-ul de instalare ce am primit, pe traseu s-a spart. Am cautat pe internet softul Lexia 3/Diagbox, insa nu am gasit un soft, care sa functioneze in asa fel sa pot activa pilotul automat... Nu stiu ce as putea face, tu presupun ca stai in Bucuresti... Da-mi un sfat, ce as putea face, am bagat o gramada de bani, pana in momentul de fata, degeaba :(

Both versions are compatible. For your car, the best one is the one with 6 pins, the one with 8 pins also has a speed limiter, but it will not work (the limiter) because you must have a compatible accelerator pedal.

Hello. I'm not very sure but I think there are two pins that lock the lever in its support. Those pins should be unlocked and the lever should be able to be removed.

@@AdrianDragan Thanks for the reply! I got it out. If anyone is having this issue there is a pin on the left side of the stalk that you can push in, then you can slide it out. I actually got it working aswell by bending the pins on the stalk out a bit. I saw in some comments that on some 307's it won't work. I got it working on my 307 facelift version 1,6 HDI manual by doing exactly what you did in your video.

Am vazut ca sunt 2 tipuri de manete de pilot automat: cu 6 pini, respectiv cu 8 pini. Am verificat blocul de lumini si pe placa electronica sunt 8 pini. Ideea este ca maneta cu 8 pini are 2 butoane in plus (din ce imi dau seama), denumite MEM. Aceste butoane nu apar in manualul de utilizare. Deci este o neconcordanta si nu stiu pe care sa o cumpar. Tu mai stii cati pini avea maneta ta, respectiv cati pini erau pe placa electronica din blocul de lumini? Mersi!

Pe de alta parte, limitatorul poate fi selectat (este activat si din soft), apare simbolul de limitator in bord, insa nu se activeaza de nicio culoare. Oricum nu ma intereseaza, asa ca il voi dezactiva si din soft. Multumesc mult de ajutor!

@@jbn37 Salut. Pentru a folosi limitatorul trebuie sa ai pedala de acceleratie speciala pentru asa ceva. O astfel de pedala are o functie "kickdown", adica atunci cand apesi la maxim pedala de acceleratie are un scat ce decupleaza temporar limitatorul de viteza pentru o depasire spre exemplu. Am limitator pe masina mea dar mi se pare inutil, cel putin pet mine. Vreau viteza constanta pun pilotul si gata.

Salutare, As avea si eu o mica provocare la un Peugeot 307 din 2005 1.6 benzina 109 cai. Situatia sta in felul urmator: a fost montat pe masina cruise control manual, este functional dar doar in treapta a 4-a. Mai jos de a 4-a nu cred ca permite software-ul. Problema e ca in treapta a5-a nu functioneaza din cauza ca au fost aduse modificari cutiei de viteze a masinii, anume, Pe treapta a5-a proprietarul anterior a montat pinion de 1.6 diesel ca sa faca raportul si mai mic (nu prea sunt de acord cu modifcarea asta dar fie). Calculatorul nu poate corela niste parametrii de viteza si turatie si nu functioneaza de fel CC-ul. Intrebarea mea este: S-ar putea modifica parametrii din softul masinii pentru a corela parametrii de turatie/viteza din treapta a5-a? Multumesc

Salutare Andrei. Intradevar, mai jos de treapta a 4-a nu permite softul. Din pacate nu cred ca se pot face modificari astfel cu Diagbox in cat sa poata fi functionala si in treapta a 5-a cat timp in cutia de viteze au fost facute niste modificari pe aceasta treapta. Cred ca acolo este vorba de un "deep coding" ce nu se poate face decat in fabrica si probabil este un standard pentru anumite cutii de viteza.
