*Not all mercedes can have a start/stop button. Make sure your car is compatible. The key has to be a Keyless-Go for it to work, so everybody who has a Mercedes don't think that by buying a start/stop button and place it in the ignition it will work. Mercedes before 2010 will not have these feature. Even if your Mercedes has these feature, you'll need a Keyless-Go key program to it. Please do your research first before you go spend any of your cash.*

@@Tony-yn5rr I believe you can on a 2010 Mercedes but the best thing to do is call your local Mercedes dealer and ask them. They should be able to tell you if a Start/Stop button can be installed on your car. That way you are 100% sure.

Not sure but I have a 2008 c300 I didn’t want to waste money to buy it and it didn’t work so you think it’s too old to have that feature I also realized I have a button on the door handle but it doest push in or nothing it just looks like a dummy button

One way to see if you have keyless go is : get in the car with your keys in hand, close the door, press the brakes, while holding the key on hand stick your finger or some object in the ignition hole where the fob goes, upon pressing if the car starts...you have keyless go...if the car doesn't start like that, then you don't have keyless entry. (plus most keyless go benzes have a "finger sensor" on the door handle to lock the car without the key, not the IR sensor that most benzes have, but a sensor like an indentation right on top of the door handle usually towards the right side of the handle before the handle ends.)

when I put my finger, nothing happens, but when I turn finger, the car starts, but I don't have keyless go...would that button work for me?

@@nebitnoegal1061 if your car keys are with you, and then you turn your finger on the ignition and the car turn on...this means you have keyless go...otherwise the car wouldn't turn on at all without the key inside the ignition slot.

If the car has keyless go feature then you have the button. Unless the car was purchased used and previous owner removed the button. The heading of your video is misleading, it's useless

RETROFIT... yet you need to have merc 2010 and later, and it has to have the KEYLESS GO, which usually is pared with Start/Stop Button. Change your title man
