I just got mine tonight and I'm honestly kind of blown away by it. It feels so premium for a 50 - 60 dollar device and the screen quality is absurd for that price point. It's definitely going to be my daily driver for anything under PS1.

I can’t decide what color I want!!! 😱 between b&w.. n I love the red too but I don’t think the RGB’s would look good on it. Like red with green, what is this Christmas? Black is ALWAYS my safe pick w/ things but I think I’m leaning more to the white on this one. Rly like the contrasting grey buttons …but that black is so clean looking!!! And for some reason I think if I eventually get modded SFC colored skittles buttons for it someday, they’d look better on the black. IDK WHAT TO DO!!!

I was hoping you'd compare the size to a horizontal device. So far none of the reviews I watched have. I just wanted to see how smaller is it in comparison to an RP2.

I previously bought the Trimui Smart Pro and the clock was wonky, it was hard to set the region, and it refused to stick to the time I set it (would keep auto-jumping ahead by 6h). And the clock would stop when i power off the device and only resume from where it left off when I power back on. Do you notice this issue with the Trimui Brick?

To me result a bit annoying that the screen is not a 960x720 resolution, that would fit lot better than that 1024x768 PC resolution.
@chrisharrison337422 күн бұрын
@@yeyebalam2688 these manufacturers take what they can get, the price of even the high end retro handhelds puts them out of reach of custom ordered screens, let alone this one that costs the same as a family trip to McDonalds. Super impressed what they've managed to achieve here to an incredibly low price point.

I love the Miyoo mini v4 but I'm not a fan of the face buttons and shoulder buttons to be honest, I'm toying with the idea of replacing it with the Miyoo a30 (because it's vertical) or the brick (because of the better screen and the buttons look nice). The mini plus is another option but it's literally the same thing I have now but bigger, the TSP is another option (I bought one during black friday and will arrive next month) but I want something small to have in my backpack.

My first Game Boy was the Game Boy Color. As a result, I have zero nostalgia for the Game Boy curve. It looks fine on an actual Game Boy; but, I'm so over it on retro handhelds. Symmetry, Symmetry über alles! Über alles in der welt! You'll be happy to know that I didn't eat or drink during your extended coverage of the Brick. No sir. Instead I played it while I paced back and forth my house due to lack of a treadmill. It's 11:30PM as I type this and I'm up to 15,195 steps on the day. So why, Dr. Zu, am I still fat? Why‽‽‽
