at 3:50 you are indeed correct! all these big rooms will be much rarer in the next Expand the Gungeon update and ive also made 100 new rooms that arev much more vanilla in both size and combat for added variety! (50 for floor 2, 50 for floor 3) with lots more on the way in the coming weeks! Edit: Glad you like the NPC secret rooms! Edit: 15:22 the big rooms have also been completely re-balanced not just reduced in frequency on the update you have atm Edit: 32:54 i did not place that cat, blame dodge rolls enemy replacement system Edit: yeah as you can see here you got like 3 big rooms on floor 4 even with the increased rarity, but dont worry, they are gonna be half as common as in this video on the next update

The double-chest room has a small chance to replace any chest room on any floor except the first. There's also a very rare Quad Chest Room with four chests that can only appear on the Abbey or the Forge. Yeah, there is a trade-hp-for-keys item in my item pack as well. I'm... sorry about a couple of those bullet hell rooms. With the Blobulon ones, I plan on thinning the hordes, and making the rooms rarer. As for the Spent room you died in, the numbers of Spent could definitely be reduced. Making Custom Items has really taken up most of my time, but I'll go back and tweak the room pack if it's really that nasty.

I’m just wondering if you ended up fixing those rooms up because I really want to download these mod packs, but yeah some of those rooms are super ridiculous, especially the ones with passages you can get stuck trying to go through and such

Abe Claney's The Hallowed mod adds in the D100, Shoop da Woop, a few others and fixes a ton of bugs with items such as chest teleporter and others, you might wanna get it!

it's not at random times, if you watch the item bar as its active it depletes over time, it has a time limit on how long it can be used, if didn't it'd be over powered beyond belief

The room at 54:10 seems fine Reto. You talk about rooms being a puzzle and this one is one. You clear the outside, kill the guy in the middle and just on his platform and shoot the blobulons, dodge back if necessary...

Okay... The multiple tiny blobulons or spent (is that what they're called) rooms are stupid even considering having normal knockback. Having them be jammed means contact damage, which means guns that can't kill them fast enough + average movespeed + small rooms = forced damage. In the base game (after the introduction of spread ammo crates) the ammo economy was so good that you always got your ammo at a decent pace. With the addition of custom rooms, it's completely out of wack... Maybe place more ammo crates in them or generally give all characters a base increase of ammo drop rate. Please give this a look through, modders. ^_^

1. I'm not "having them be jammed" , they're Jammed because Reto has 9.5 curse. 2. They would deal contact dmg even if they weren't jammed, because that's the way the enemies work. 3. You can't currently place ammo crates in custom rooms. I am working on thinning down the enemy groups, and making blobby rooms rarer in general.

@@Nevernamed I know that its not your doing that they're jammed and it's because of the Curse. However, the placement of mobs should definitely be considered with the chance of them being jammed. Since being jammed makes blobulons move faster, they're the only enemy that change their threat level to from low to very high. I think that this warrants them being used less. I unfortunately misspoke about the contact damage part... My apologies. I meant that it's harder to deal with jammed versions of them by rolling because of their jammed damage. Sad to see that the ammo situation is kinda stuck at the moment but I wish you guys the very best! Thanks for the reply and also thank you, for making the mods! :)

Would definitely suggest changing the stats to that of a normal Gungeoneer if you’re gonna use the Reto character for Eden runs, had no idea knockback wasn’t affected

You don’t have to charge the rad gun that many times at all, it ones shots most stuff on like 3 and pretty much everything on 4 reloads, you seriously can go to like 5 and it’s more than enough

The problem with most of the big rooms is that people just made them look cool on the map but you cant acess the center so they just become donuts

the file that you have to put in the CustomCharacterData folder is not the zip file you downloaded but instead the folder within that zip file that contains files like characterdata or playersheet

1.put the custom character mod(the mod itself and not the characters) in the mods folder 2.delete the mods.txt file that is in the mods folder 3.start and close the game this should generate the CostomCharacterData folder(this folder in not located in the mods folder but instead in the "Enter the Gungeon" folder)
