It would be one thing if you pivoted your channel into sweaty try-hard just running the strongest meta builds every video and bragging about it, but showing off and discussing at some depth what the strongest builds are is totally acceptable, at least to me

I don't think there is anything wrong with it either, but I like doing it with the more "taboo" builds closer to when they're getting patched out. I don't want a hand in teaching people how to play lizard while we had a month left in the patch lol.

6:12 You heal 18hp for every Shoe Blade. If they crit every single hit, you'd only be losing 2hp per hit, and every non crit you'd heal for the equivalent of 3 crits. So yeah, regen is great very early on.

First few times I encountered Monitor Lizard in the store I was like.. "Meh, that's rubbish" Seeing as it states: "When you Haste" I thought it was going of on a haste trigger from the item that provides it (So Item x hastes) which would mean only one trigger. Later on I found out (by being beaten up by that lizard) that the text should be: "When you haste an item, poison xx" This might be something that the dev's could go over. Because some items actually state that, and some don't but just do. Also, Quite enjoying your video's. Great that your explaining your thought process when picking items and choices :)

Walter is kind of a sleeper win condition, the longer you keep him on the more it ramps HP and progressively makes you stronger and stronger while also giving you a slot you can always replace. Can absolutely be the difference in 9 or 10 wins

The lack of vials kept it from being abused i thunk... ive seen 50 to 100, and the worse was the 35 poison and 22 burn base with both rays. I was a hp pig but it wasny fair in the slightest i think it reached at least 100 of both by the end which was far too fast for a 30k hp piggy I am waiting for either a sunlight spear or maybe even a heal = damage run. Both would be great to see but also rng to do

Regarding the first Wasp Fight: In a normal run, no items would leave you at 6 HP. With your regen, you lived at 75. That means you regened 69 life. Nice

While I was writing the following comment and about to post it, I thought last second to check to see if a new patch was out. It is. lol. Leaving this here to laugh at how off I might have been. My wild, no evidence-based guess at the next patch: 1. Monitor lizard gets pulled while they "look at what to do with it" 2. freeze skills have their durations reduced by 50% across the board due to those skills vastly overperforming in win/lose metrics (I am guessing, I do not know) 3. BOB and regal blade have their scaling reduced slightly and the level up option to increase health by 10% is lowered to 5% 4. Corrosive toxins gets called fine, it is "just a skill that feels bad to lose to". Update: Yep, mostly wrong lol, but I did get a little close to some things. They changed Monitor lizard and it still looks good, but not busted anymore, we ll see. Freeze seems to have received just the slightest of nerfs, with rapid thaw being made much easy to get and stronger and freeze skills slightly shorter. Corrosive toxins skill starts at gold tier and has smaller numbers, but it still looks like it could be a nightmare to run into.

For all the whining you talk about this patch creating, I hope it is also recognized by those individuals how much good this patch did for game balancing purposes and future innovating. I've thoroughly enjoyed some of the things this patched changed, and I have even won more on this patch than the previous one! So, I personally think that many evaluations of this patch may be short-sighted. Of course, we'll have new complaints next patch!
