This was my first Batman game but beside batgirl and Penguin I didn't know anyone so I had no expectations. The game holds 120 fps most of the time and aiming with keyboard and mouse works well. The upgraded red guy can aim and deals masiv damage if you tap heads.

I'm playing this game with my teen sister and she's loving playing as Robin. The only thing that I didn't really like is that I kinda leveled up too much and got too strong at around halfway throughthe game, so I'm doing sidequests and main quests aimed at levels 9-15... While I'm level 30. But that was kinda my fault, I was having fun solving crimes and fighting with each character. I will probably have a better experience on New Game Plus. Btw, I'm using a dub in a different language (Brazilian Portuguese), and I feel they did an excellent job. I tried playing it with the English dub, which I usually prefer, but I didn't really like it.

Love Barb, the map is amazing, the thugs suck tho and are in no way shape or form intimidating but the story ain’t bad, it may be 30fps but the combat and stuff isn’t bad and it’s very well detailed. Worst part was the co-op bugs, and glitches while riding the bikes.. and the EMPTY big waste of a city. Generic, empty, lifeless. Drive for 5 minutes to next marker while absolutely nothing happens, boring ugly city, and no action while driving. What a bore to travel around. The bosses were horrible, the story was a massive let down like 3-4 villains lol. Didn't like the character models or performances at all. Batman not being playable is madness. The entire game was the biggest let down arguably ever in gaming history to me considering I've been dying for a Bat family game since forever. Rocksteadys next game was it, everything about Arkham Knight suggested the next one would be co-op with batmobile, bikes, batwing, batcave.. Why the hell did Rocksteady have to give it to WB Montreal, and do Suicide Squad.. we needed ONE MORE Arkham. Biggest let down ever. Still so angry with this game. Arkham Knight 8 years prior still blows this crap out of the water. Rant over lol.

I just bought this game while it was on sale. I knew about the criticism but i saw a fair amount of praise, so i thought I'd try it out. I haven't been able to stop playing it since. At first i was really annoyed with it, it's still buggy this long after release, the combat is sometimes clunky, and the story isn't the most creative, but once i was able to get into the flow i started having so much fun. Honestly i think if they made a sequel, I'd look forward to seeing if they improve as a studio, because there's certainly potential. The cute character moments in the belfry really sold it for me, as well as the gear upgrades. So yeah, not the best game, but I only consider one game to be flawless, and I've enjoyed worse games. I'm really glad i gave it a chance.

I just started playing a couple nights ago and I'm about 7 hours in. And honestly I'm having alot of fun with it. I should have known it wasn't as bad as everyone said... in today's age, if a game isn't a 9 or 10 than it's a 2.. it's bullshit. Just like forspoken.. everyone acted like it's a 2/10 but in actuality its a solid 6.5-7/10. It's not a bad game by any means but it's not great. Gotham knights so far is pretty damn fun, I'm playing it completely solo and so far I'd give it a 7.5/10. Don't listen to people saying this game is awful, give it a shot and make your own decision. I played a good chunk of this before I got burnt out. Every night I would run through the city and do literally everything there was to do and in the next night I would pick a different character and run through the city and do everything there is to do, however, I would keep storylines tied to a specific character. Mr freeze was Batgirl playface was Nightwing Robin and Red Hood had various things they were doing. The shortcoming definitely almost outweighs the positives on this game. The combat for me was fun and I enjoyable especially kicking ass and penguins nightclub to his dope ass beats lol definitely made combat so much more fun. I enjoyed the banter between all four characters especially with Alfred who kept them glued together as their surrogate grandfather. Overall it was a pleasant game and I definitely intend to go back and finish it and Platinum it. Also Batgirl has got nice cake!!!

This game had so much potential and man was it wasted. I saw a game where I can finally play as nightwing, who can be fully kitted out instead of a bare bones Arkham dlc but instead we got a stiff, no flow combat system, with the same animation spammed for each character and a dodge that felt horrible to perform. This is the only time I ever felt like I wasted my money on a game and man was I sad. P.S. the story was so obvious that it made me genuinely wonder what the point of adding the Batman’s dead thing to another story where he gets revived by the league and then killed again. Don’t even get me started on the tragic waste of one of the coolest Batman villains, the court of owls.

This game is fine. It's nothing to write home about, but it's okay. I had a lot of fun with it. Playing with friends would be way better, though. The DLCs are free and somewhat bad because the characters end up needing to be leveled up individually, and that sucks, especially when the game play can get repetitive over time. I'd give 3/5 as player score and that's it. Since you can get your hands on this one pretty cheap for such a long time now, I don't see why not to try it out. But if you are low on time, totally skip this one. If you like to grind (I do, it helps me relax) this one can be somewhat fun. The game is not broken, works just fine, the story is likeable and don't last too long. Oh, and easy platinum as well.

It would've been better if the game started with you as Batman along with the Bat-family dealing with a situation orchestrated by Joker at City Hall. Upon defeating him Joker gets sent to Arkham Asylum. Time skips by six months and the main plotline kicks in. The player, as Batman, goes to Arkham Asylum. On route Batgirl contacts Batman to tell him she'll meet him at the Asylum and that Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood are dealing with Ivy in Bludhaven. Upon getting to Arkham Batman finds Joker dead and Batgirl completely Joker-infected. Realising he's been led into a trap, the course of the narrative sees Batman discover that Batgirl (now The Jester) is hacking into all of his weapons and vehicles in preparation to attack Gotham.

I was excited when this game trailer came out but was bummed when everyone said it sucked, so i never got it. I know at this point it has some updates but honestly, im enjoying myself. The writing and story isnt great at all, traversal isnt fantastic, but even that im not incredibly upset with. Its not a fantastic game for sure but its fun for a little while. Honestly think it gets too much hate. Compared to the other games, and the fact its supposed to have some what of a connection, it definitely falls off there. But just as a game where you get to be all those other characters, its pretty sweet. Combat is fun, its got simple mechanics that make me feel bad ass, traveling with a grappling hook feels good, lot of different costume and accessories. Im not too far but 5 or so hours in, its fine

I really enjoyed this game when I played it middle of last year. Obviously not a perfect game and the framerate was pretty terrible. But the graphics are good, story was solid enough and I had quite a bit of fun playing through it. Seems like the overall sentiment from the comments is that most people liked it well enough for what it was.

The game has flaws that are very obvious from the start honestly, but I still lots had fun when I got it with ps plus essential. Definitely wasn’t worth the price it was at launch but getting it for like $30 is worth it in my opinion. I played with Batgirl and Robin mainly.

It sucks how no studio can make anything Batman related without having to be exactly like Arkham. Maybe that’s why there is still no Superman game

The reason people feel vindicated in attacking this game with so much passion is because they kept thinking they would be getting an arkham clone with multi-player options and when they didn't get it they just complained about everything they possibly could The gripes I had was that the game needed more content and they could've added more distinct stories for each character rather than just a cutscene or a line or two that changes based on the enemy If you expected you were getting batman and instead got a skinny guy in a puffed up batman costume is it really his fault you were disappointed? I had fun playing the game and I would've liked more multi-player content other than just a pit and the occasionally do over with the bosses but that didn't stop me for enjoying it when I played it

Yea tge gear rated armor abd weapons kind if suck. You csn feel the live setvice remnants, but i thought it was a good game fir $20. Is it great. No, but its good enough at that price. You saud it failed upward, i absolutely agree. Theres morw i like than dislike. Youd think suicide squad would have learned. Even then ir woouldnt even be mid because of live service abd no charactee identity
