The yo-yo craze hit my Elementary school, and I remember everyone going crazy over Yo-Yo’s! We even had a Yo-yo team come to our school to perform tricks and they sold that exact Bumble Bee Yo-Yo… it was supposedly the best and I had to have one! Wish I still had it! I’m guessing me and you are around the same age! This would’ve been like 1993-1994

I didn’t know about GI Joe as a kid as it was before my time but the cartoon (on KZbin) is so funny, reminds me of the satire movie Team America, I started collecting the figures as an adult, now moved onto the 6 inch remakes Hasbro puts out now, if you’re looking for a cartoon that is pure 80s full of great rip offs of 80s action heroes check out the old G.I. Joe cartoon (the original not the crappy watered down DIC series)
