I just read Sonja Hennie's wiki biography. She was a huge force in figure skating, with her Olympic wins matched only by Katerina Witt. Later when she transitioned to movies, she became a big star for 20th Century Fox. She also had her own ice shows, becoming a very wealthy celebrity. Glad that youtube is showing her movies.

I like old movies so much better, so I'm looking forward to watching this. I see it has the Nicholas Brothers in it - they're always amazing. And a younger Milton Berle than I've ever seen before - I almost didn't recognize him! Jimmy Dorsey & his band are such a treat to listen to. It seems to have been such a simpler time. I miss those days of relative innocence.

I first watched this film without knowing that Sonja Henie was an Olympic skater, but as soon as I saw her skate I thought there's no way that some random average Hollywood performer could ever skate that well, even with some film trickery.

Cool. Sonja Henie is a norwegian girl so was movie star from 20th Century Fox of America. I hope maybe Disney Studios of America trying to make just one full-length live action movie about me, myself like real life, showing what i doing in my apartment here in Norway. Then i was autisme and my neighbors too, also filmed with my Strand families like my parents, my 2 brothers and my little brother's girlfriend, we can talk english so good like Sonja Henie. I remember Sonja Henie was herself like Disney cartoon there she gives her's autograph to Donald Duck in The Autograph Hound and Donald trying to get ice skates in The Hockey Champ. Because i love cartoons and videogames. Let's see what happened in future.😄
