One time when I was around 7 years old, my little Colombian grandma, my little sister(5y/o) and I were walking our little Cocker Spaniel-Pomeranian mix, Brownie, to the park about a block away. We took off her leash because she was a sweet dog who wouldn't run away or attack anyone. Apparently, our neighbor saw this and proceeded to call the cops on us and our HIGHLY VICIOUS RABID DOG. We were playing at the park when the cops showed up and tried asking my grandma where the dog was, but she doesn't speak English and hadn't the slightest clue what the cop was saying. So my sister and I timidly walk over to the cops with our tiny 10 pound dog in our hands and the cop actually laughed. He told us to keep Brownie on a leash and he left. I don't know what my neighbor had hoped would happen if she called the cops on two young children, their grandma, and their dog. Honestly, she could have just asked us to put a leash on her...
