My return to Treasure Beach to go mudlarking with my friend Aad (of the channel ‪@MudBagger406406406‬ ) does not disappoint. This is the first of 4 days of magical mudlarking with the Marble King himself, Aad. The tides were particularly low. Come along and see some of the strange objects that were revealed when the tide went out and out.

Such a relaxing video! Well done and I am looking forward to the others from that beach. I love the little leg you found. And the greenish looking chandelier bauble. It made me picture it on one oh your fish, either as a fin on its belly or vertically as a blade of seaweed lol! Have a wonderful week!

The glas dish you found at 5.30 is meant to go underneath the leg of a cast iron stove. There were four glas dishes per stove which prevented rising moisture from the floor from rusting the stove legs.

It was so nice being able to watch you once again, Nicola! We just suffered through three EF-2 tornadoes coming through our community in Florida last Friday, the 10th. Following that 7am wake-up call, we then spent five days without power or water, and seven days without cable and internet. To say the least, being able to enjoy you once again mudlarking has made me so appreciative of the little things in life! Thanks for a lovely video, Nicola!

sorry you've lost your furr-baby. our pets are truly a part of our family & as well loved & missed as our human family members. Nearly 2 years after suddenly losing our cat Jonah we were chosen by a new little 3 month old boy who is bringing laughter, kitty kisses & comfort every day. But we still cherish the memories of past cats who've made our lives richer.

French is such a lilting language! I took French in high school, many many years ago. When I hear it spoken I remember the teacher- she was tall and slender with long black hair and black framed glasses. She looked like she stepped out of a scene from a French movie. That being said , the bottle is my favorite find! Thank you for sharing this adventure! I wanted to shout out, there's an iron! I was thrilled when Aad picked it up! Greetings Nicola. Seeing the little Darelmans tag it reminded me of the time I spent in the Netherlands. I came across a Dutch Wafel maker called Daelmans who has operated since 1904, they are still a going concern. It could well be a tag that was on their tins secured by a ribbon. Thanks for your concern for those who are unwell.

Hi Nicola, the SBR pin is from a Belgian Radio making company called 'Société Belge Radio-electrique (SBR)'. It was founded in 1922 in Brussels and went broke in 2002. They were also involved in making the first radiostation in Belgium. Probably this little emblem was glued to one of their radio's. I hope you're doing well and can't wait to see your other films from Aad's secret finding place. Many greetings!

On google Daelmans was a bakery in a place called Vlijmen in southern Netherlands in 1904, famous for Stroopwafels? Not sure what that means! Presumably reading between the lines it.s a biscuit/cookie made with caramel syrup if the blurb is correct. They are still in business. That tag might be part of their packaging/advertisement. The SBR that i found is a bonding polymer agent which is mixed with cement mortar/concrete for sealing and waterproofing. Not actual proof your finds relate and what was the find used for but it’s all i could find. Lovely video, thanks for sharing.

I always enjoy Sunday with you. Just had an awful week. This summer I'm working part time as a Pier Agent (glorified term for a person that smiles a lot and points people in the correct direction) at a cruise terminal. I am on my feet all day on cement so I wanted shoes that would provide me with lots of support and cushioning. After researching and reading online reviews for several hours I purchased a pair of very $$ Hoka Bondi 8s. Let me say these shoes should come with a warning for people that are on the small side and have a very narrow stance. First day I wore them was Monday and while walking briskly between locations I ended up falling and hitting my head so hard it scared those around me. I'm pretty hard headed (my mother would have added that I also have a one track mind). I figured it was my fault for being in a hurry so I wore them again on Tuesday and went down again only this time my body keep going while my feet stopped in place. Hit my head again in almost the same stop (just above my left eye) only this time I got a nasty carpet burn on my forehead and my right knee. This time I was more scared that I had done some damage so off the ER for a Cat Scan of head, check and neck and x-ray of my right knee. No damage done. The shoes have been returned, the clerk didn't ask me any questions when I told her I they had caused me to fall, one look at the left side of my face said enough. My face is yellow grew, berry red, blackberry and bruised from above my eye to my chin. I haven't seen the ER bill yet, Labor and Industries will pay the bill since it happened at work, if not my insurance will cover most of it but I really feel like Hoka owes for pain and the way my face looks! PS This is also the most boring job I have ever worked! I really don't understand why anyone wants to get on a ship with 4000 of their nearest and dearest strangers. Hugs and love to all.

Seems like this was the first time I could see stuff I wanted you to pick up. I would love to do this. When you found the two stoppers I thought I saw a yellow bead, and a bone shaped piece of metal and then another white button. Fun looking.

Aad: Spotted the first coin! Can you see it? Me: ooh yes! Yes I can!! Aad: picks up coin Me: Oh. No I guess I didn’t see it. Nicola: Can you see the old key down here? Me: Yes I can. Nicola: picks up key Me: Oh. No, I didn’t see the key. Nicola: I’ve just seen a button down here … let’s take a look. Me: I’ve seen it this time! Nicola: it’s just there Me: Yes! Third time’s a charm 😂 I really enjoyed this video Nicola. Aad does seem a very calming presence, and has such a lilting way of speaking. If he’s good at finding marbles, perhaps one day he’ll come to Australia - I lost my marbles a long time ago 🙃 I enjoyed your French too, even though I couldn’t understand it.
