James, I'm surprised that you, being a Ukrainian, visited a staunchly pro-Russian country like Serbia and call it one of your favorite European countries. Since the start of the invasion, the only pro-Russia demonstrations in Europe have taken place in Belgrade. In contrast, Yugoslavia during the time of Tito was proud to be independent of the Soviet Union.

We do not know anything about History of Serbia, because it's always twisted by the foreign enemies of Serbians. They do not have many friendly countries and their friendship to Russia is pictured as very bad association for others in Europe. @@curious.lad.369 Serbia is not neutral its pro russian not because of russia but because west is sick not only because of using ukraine as instrument toward russia while hundreds of thousands of people die, but also because of those sick sexual liberal and antichristian satanic agenda that nobody with clear mind would agree, and specialy those who saw what they did in yugoslavia, syria, iraq, libya and currently yemen, people died in millions and nobody cared, people saw in direct what they are capable of.

I meant to add that I really like your videos because you always point out the buildings and what kind of buildings they are. I mean I could say architecture but that sounds kind of highbrow for me. Soviet buildings or other kind of buildings I guess. :-) I don't know if I ever mentioned that Boston City Hall is Brutalist. (Not sure what form of that word to use). At least it's white and not gray. Doesn't mean it's not ugly but I guess it is possible that it could have been more ugly :-) A friend sent me a Facebook message today to tell me that Russia bombed Poland. That's not quite exact but it was kind of interesting considering my brother was also going to call me "as soon as [he] got outside." If anyone is still holding their breath, apparently Russia missed Ukraine - which is really difficult because it's a really big country - and managed to kill two people in Przewodów. My friend also told me that World War 3 was trending on Twitter.

Hi! You're alive! Missed you. :-( I would have been here earlier but I had a live stream to go to at 3:00. I think you might have missed some very pretty balconies about 3:00 or 3 and 1/2 minutes in at the beginning. I thought they were pretty. :-) I almost saw the swans. It's good that you mentioned that they were swans. Maybe a little slower with the planning? I remember back in the '80s a friend told me her last name and I asked where her family was from and she said Serbia and I had never heard of it because Wait a minute that was 1984. When did Yugoslavia break up? Well I'm going to have to look it up anyway. I will get to it. I had not heard of Serbia, Estonia, Latvia, but I had heard of Lithuania. Our Father took us to this Lithuanian club because they had his favorite pizza. Of course it was all the way in Brockton which was like 40 minutes away from home but we didn't get out much so that was okay :-) Hope the family is well. Not sure what is the difference between the EU and the European zone. I did hear that the Schengen area is different. I think it was when someone was talking about Bulgaria. People are diaspora-ing all over the place. Recently I have been to a supermarket in Turkey, a mall in Georgia, mountains in various places. England, but... It's England. Oh and Thailand I think. And a few other places. Saw some pretty Muscovy ducks in some part of Ukraine that may have been mentioned in some other video. But at least I know whose ducks they were. I do miss Poland. But I read the book. Again. It was actually the third time. It went faster the first two times. Probably because of no internet back in the '80s. And now I am reading a book about Lech Wałęsa. I still don't really have those letters on this keyboard but I put it in the dictionary because I was tired of misspelling it. Right now I'm in the late '50s. Things seem like they are going to start getting bad again. But they were briefly a little bit better. Oh well. Reading all of this stuff always makes me remember why Ukraine fights so hard. If Russia was next door to me, I would be fighting too. (I would be horrible at it and they'd probably kill me in the first 5 minutes but, I guess it would beat being tortured or having to live under their rule). How is your Polish going? I've been reading too many library books. About the country, not the language. Sadly the current one is copyright 1986 so I will not get to see any happy ending. It's still about 4 years in the future at least. Hard to believe people in Poland were still living in houses with dirt floors in the '40s and apparently the '50s. Just recently I reached a part about that great building in Warsaw that everybody hates. Apparently there are jokes about it. The book mentioned a couple and I've already forgotten one of them. Have you ever noticed how many Central and Eastern European flags have eagles? I need to watch BBC News and get the ducks in. Daylight savings time is over and it's getting dark. Thankfully it's shorter that it used to be. So nice to see you again.
@dzonikg
@dzonikg Жыл бұрын
I can tell you about the eagle..its becase off Byzantium(east Roman empire) influence in middle ages in this part off europe..Nemanjic family which was ruling Serbian dynasty for 2 centuries in 12 and 13 century had same eagle in flag(but 2 eagle was also and before Nemanjic just different design) ,after Ottoman invasion that eagle was baned and removed from everywhere but still stayed in monasteries off Serbian orthodox church ..after Serbian uprising against Ottomans eagles were back to flags
