Once upon a time, I lived in a horrible shoebox of an apartment. I found it after couch-surfing and sleeping in my car for a couple of months, I didn't know the guy I was sharing it with either. The listing said it was "garden level", which I did not know then but do know now is code for "halfway underground". My only window faced into the complex, and I had no lights, which meant that the only light I got was that which reflected off the white door of one of my neighbors during the day - during the night I had my phone's flashlight and that's it. Now, this was a cheap, cheap apartment in a kind of a bad town, so it wasn't great when I moved in. My roommate, a nice enough guy I should mention, did have the nasty habit of leaving vegetable oil on the counter, cooking with it, and never cleaning the counters, so like every surface in the kitchen was covered in a film of oil all the time. I worked two jobs and was tired all the time so I never cleaned either so I just didn't cook in the kitchen and ate fast food all the time, which was super unhealthy. I was lucky not to gain a lot of weight on account of my 20 or so year old metabolism. I lived in dark, disgusting squalor, and during this time, I found and watched your Sea of Thieves videos, and it provided a really fun distraction from the nightmare my life was. I'm fine now, I rent a house with some of my best friends, I have a professional career, but in what was probably the worst time in my life so far, this stuff really helped.

The big change you gotta make is that only children will sink from being boarded with no cannon pressure. You can't board and lock down a sink solo like you could in the good old days, people know to bucket and play things slow against a solo. Instead, you have to either add more holes by keeping their ship moving and crashing into things to ramp up the damage while you're on board or you have to fish for kills with your cannon so you can keep them on the ferry while you are adding more damage with your shots. You're probably going to have to go a lot more naval heavy and only board to lock down movement, not repairs.
