Never knew Sacha has family in the Philippines. I thought you guys just simply got stranded . I now realize that you guys really belong in the Philippines and are fated to be residents of the country. I feel so good for you.

Grandad & Lola were genuinely caught off guard :-D , we are really pleased with how the surprise came together. They do watch the vlogs so we filmed a backlog of videos so that he would think we were still in Siargao even though we had already arrived in Cavite. ;-) In a few days Grandad will join us in Makati to tour the city a bit and spend time with Story. Lots of sweet memories to share.

You guys might also want to check out "BGC High street" in Taguig, its a lot more lively and modern there and you can check out the "Mind Museum" in BGC as well. And if you still have time you can also go to Manila Ocean Park, Story will surely have a blast. 💯% 👍

The Philippines has really had a significant impact on your whole family's lives - dad retired in the Philippines and married to a Filipina, Story raised around Filipinos and goes to a Filipino school, you guys having lived in Siargao for years now. You must have a strong emotional connection to the country now.

That's my hometown. I was born and raised in Cavite City. I left 30 years ago when I was 24 but I return to visit every few years so everything in the video looks familiar including Lago Cafe. It's great your dad has found a nice home in Cavite. From the vantage point of your dad's balcony to the Mcdonald's sign, it looks like he lives somewhere in Santa Cruz which was my old stomping grounds. I'll be visiting again in January of next year and I'm sure I'll pass by your dad's big house.
