Just bought a rev’it Akira, have a rev’it airforce... do I need this??? Hmmmmm

I visited the store, excited to try the tornado 2. I didn't like how loose and baggy it got once the liner was removed(especially in the elbow area). I'm looking for a sport touring fit with a lot of protection and airflow without breaking the bank.
@RevZilla6 жыл бұрын
If you don't need a thermal liner but still want a removable waterproof liner, then this Torque Jacket provides a slimmer fit than the Tornado 2 with the waterproof liner removed. -DrewZilla

Are the shoulder and elbow CE protectors removable? Can they be upgraded to the Revit Level 2 protectors? Cheers!

@Revzilla can we get an answer to this question?
@janis31676 жыл бұрын
Just checked mine. Yes, they are easily removable. But i have no idea how much bigger lvl2 is. There seems to be a little extra room in those pockets.
@kevinwong96566 жыл бұрын
Janis thanks! I hope level 2 will fit as well.

I want to know this too
@francesco60754 жыл бұрын
They can't be upgraded, that's the thing with rev'it. They don't want you to upgrade, they want you to buy a new jacket altogether 💰

How does this Jackets air flow compare to the REV'IT Tornado 2? Is the waterproof liner is similar to the Tornado 2 and also thermal /windproof?
@RevZilla6 жыл бұрын
The Tornado 2 flows more air and is also more abrasion-resistant. As for the Torque Jacket, its waterproof liner is just waterproof, not insulated. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-torque-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-tornado-2-jacket

Im choosing this REV'IT! Torque or DAINESE Air Crono 2. Both have the same price, which should I buy?
@RevZilla6 жыл бұрын
I'd probably go with the Torque, as it includes a removable waterproof liner. However, if you don't need a rain liner and really prefer the Dainese styling, then you can go with the Air Crono 2. Both jackets offer pretty similar protection otherwise. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-torque-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-air-crono-2-jacket

Could you tell me how the airflow of this jacket compares to that of the Rev'It Ignition 3?
@RevZilla6 жыл бұрын
Both have a lot of mesh, but the Torque Jacket has just a bit more mesh. You might feel a slight difference between them, but it wouldn't be major. The Ignition 3 offers the better abrasion resistance with its leather and stronger Dynax mesh. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-torque-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-ignition-3-jacket

Is the liner wind-proof like Spidi or is only water-proof? Thanks :)
@RevZilla4 жыл бұрын
It is only waterproof but that would help with almost all of the wind issues you would be dealing with as well, it is just not certified as such to our knowledge. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or CS@revzilla.com. Ride safe, Pat

Might Revzilla or any owners of this jacket clarify something for me: Does this jacket have the zipper in the back that connects to pants? Thanks!
@RevZilla5 жыл бұрын
It does not. It only has jeans loops for connecting to a belt or belt loops. Consider the following if you want a short connection zipper. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-airwave-2-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-vertex-air-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-gt-r-air-2-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-arc-air-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-traction-jacket

How does this jacket compare to the Traction?
@RevZilla5 жыл бұрын
The Traction is made entirely of their PWR|Mesh, while the Torque is made from a combination of regular mesh with textile. That means the Traction offers slightly more ventilation. Otherwise, both have removable waterproof liners, and both use the same CE Level 1 Seesmart armor. The Torque is the better value, while the Traction offers a bit more casual style. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-traction-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-torque-jacket

Which size would you suggest? Height 174, weight 65 kg. M or S?
@RevZilla3 жыл бұрын
Chest measurement is going to be the most accurate way to size a jacket. I would suggest getting that and then basing your choice off the size chart on the product page: www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-torque-jacket -Zack
@edgarrider28423 жыл бұрын
@@RevZilla my chest is 95 cm. So S size fits well, if i wear just a tshirt under the jacket. My measurements are into border of S between M. Besides, the back protector was not used. If i used it in S size, maybe jacket was tight. So i couldn’t decide which size is more reasonable for my body. What would you suggest?

Does the D30 viper back protector for this jacket??
@RevZilla6 жыл бұрын
The D3O Viper does not fit. The Torque uses REV'IT!'s Seesoft Type RV protector, which is shaped differently than D3O. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-torque-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-seesoft-back-protector-insert

How does this compare to the REV'IT Airwave 2? Both are summer-focused jackets at the same price point.
@RevZilla6 жыл бұрын
The Airwave 2 Jacket uses mesh that's a bit more durable. However, the Torque comes with a removable waterproof liner, which brings the price up to that of the Airwave 2. The Airwave 2 doesn't have a waterproof liner, but it does have both a short pants connection zipper and a jeans loop. The Torque Jacket has jeans loops but no connection zipper. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-torque-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-airwave-2-jacket

How's about GT-R Air2? In term of airflow and fit. Thank you!

What size would Tony aka "JUICE" wear ?
@RevZilla6 жыл бұрын
Juice would wear a size large for a snug fit, but since he's right on the edge, he could wear XL if he wanted a bit more room. -DrewZilla

RevZilla thanx for the answer, my measurments almost identical with Juice. U will notice me asking same question on other products.
