Thank for video. I believe you can also wear the waterproof liner on top of the jacket saves it wetting out.. thanks

Thank you for the testing, really appreciated the honest review! Exactly what I was looking for before buy as there is not enough coverage on the internet about the Offtrack 2. Seems the jacket will cover all 4 seasons of NZ weather, have you tried it in the summer? Regarding the video sound quality, I would suggest to filter the wind noise (that not really annoying but would be great to reduce). Could be done via AI or sound editing apps with no effort.

Hi there. I’ve not had the jacket that long. Only a couple of months, but the thermal and waterproof layers come out really easily, and there are some big vents for air glow, so it would make a great warm weather jacket too. The wind noise is actually added in to this video in a separate audio feed from the camera to give some ambience, otherwise you wouldn’t hear it at all if just listening to the mic feed. The Cardo does a great job of noise cancellation.

Nice thanks mate. Cant say i miss doing that trip or welli weather in general 🌧🌊🥶

Thanks for the great review. You are probably getting cold because the jacket has wet out even if it hasn't got through the waterproof liner. Can't the waterproof liner be worn on the outside? That would stop the jacket wetting out and becoming cold.

Can you comment on the pant sizing? Where i live I have to order online without trying on. Size charts seem so unreliable, its good to have real world reference. I'm 180 lbs, 5'10, size 32 jeans. 30" inseam. I am thinking I should order a medium. Sound right?

what's a jacket for warmer weather? up to what temperature is it ok to drive with it? I'm planning to buy it, so I'm interested in your experience..
@MotoNZ11 ай бұрын
this Revit off track 2 is fine in warmer weather, but youll want to remove the thermal and possibly the waterproof lining, which is easy to do... or the Dirt series jacket... but that has less crash protection.

I'm still seeking that "waterproof" gear, as I always arrive with wet socks, crotch, etc. 6 deg C is my lower limit in Toronto, Canada. But I have heated jacket and pants, and heated grips. I'm envious of your legal lane splitting. It looks like it drops about 40% time off of your commute.
@MotoNZ Жыл бұрын
lane splitting isn't the best thing in the world, but it does mean if traffic is blocked you can usually still get through. I think on average i save about 20minutes per trip. more if theres been a crash. This Rev'it gear is definitely the most waterproof gear I've had up till now. only time will tell if it stays that way. Forma Boots are about 5 years old and still completely waterproof. can recommend. thanks for watching.

I spent ten years as a motorbike courier in Wellington (where he is) and used SIDI Gortex boots. Kept me feet dry all day. Had to dry them out over night so had a fue pairs at once but highly recommend them.

How waterproof are the trousers? In very heavy rain

@@MotoNZ are the trousers quite baggy ? I’m trying to find something for enduro riding that accommodates knee braces 👊

You might get knee braces under them, but I think you would be better looking at the RevIt dirt series pants for enduro riding.

I can just imaging you’re going to get too hot, but yes you can wear the offtrack h2o pants with knee braces and that should be fine, I have a set of Pod K8 that fit fine with the offtrack H2O pants
