I need my hair to be damp to wet (not dripping) to get some of my best results because like clay my hair is better able to mold to being stretched and straight when it starts out wet as opposed to if I allow my hair to dry up a bit and set into its natural kinky pattern. It also helps in that I don't have to detangle too much to get my natural kinky texture out of my hair which is what I am going for when I use my Revair to be able to move on to another stretched style (usually I just do a twist out)

Thank you for doing this. I randomly came across this product and in doing an off KZbin search, I came across your video. I thought it was really well done and helpful. I don't know if I can justify the cost, but I am intrigued and I thought it looked nice for you! I liked also you said it didn't make you sweat because oh nos... Can't take that especially LA in the summer.

I agree I can definitely get away with using a lot of leave-in under my blowdry spray when using my Revair. I always use a glycerin free leave-in to combat my hair frizzing. I initially used the Camille Rose Coconut Water but felt I needed more to parch my naturally dry high porosity hair so I started using the Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel as my leave-in and its the perfect amount of moisture for me. Having natural hair we still need a good amount of moisture. @Revair if you want a customer rep I got you haha I be commenting on all these Revair reviews trying to help my natural sisters get the best results. Hair stats: Kinky 4B/4C, fine strands, high porosity, medium density, medium length.

Thank you I needed to see someone with the old Rev Air I purchased mine about 2019 or 2020 and it’s still in the box I lost my husband in 2015 after 40 years of marriage and I just purchased things and never opened them I’m just starting to heal enough to look at some of the items so I wanted to see how you use the old one.

Omg! I’m so sorry for your loss! Yes I still have it and it’s still running well! I haven’t used it in a while because I find the Revlon brush dryer to be quicker for me as far as functionality but Revair most definitely still gets the job done

Your hair was dry? You would've had much better results with wet hair and less product.

Wow, amasing!! You have a really nice voice. However, the RevAir has done a wonderful job on your already gorgeous, healthy looking hair. Don't need the hair bone straight, I'm looking for my hair to be like yours after done as absolutely fine and easier to maintain. Trying to get one here in UK but website without stock. We need it here in the UK. Apparently if you don't use it on the very high setting then it won't have that brittle dry feeling. We will all develop strong shoulders and arms.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with mine I’m considering sending it back because it actually makes my hair hard and crackly feeling and I can never just put a comb through like you were without getting significant breakage 😫

Are you using a leave in? I use a generous amount as well as aloe vera juice on detangled hair. I keep my hair in the small sections I'll use to blow dry and apply a blow dry creme heat protectant. I have probably 30 sections, no lie. The rest are in bantu knots, wet, and covered with a plastic cap to keep wet til I get to them. I have kinky low porosity 4c fine strand high density hair that tangles easily and snaps easily when combed so I have to baby it. I Revair on hi or lo heat depending on mood but always on 7. I move the wand around in my scalp every few seconds and pause for several seconds to get my roots adequate stretch. When my hair is still damp, I gently brush it, put it back in the wand. It's in there a total of maybe 60-80s? Then I twist it up and move on to the next. If I miss the chance to brush while damp I'll mist with water, brush, and put back in til dry. It helps soften. I add a tiny bit of oil and shea to the twists when I'm done. Very little though, not like I would when my hair isn't blow dried. The oils are also softening. HTH

@@tamaraclark7804 Sheamoisture jbco, but just because I got it in clearance at Sally's a while back, not because I know it to be better than any other. A little argan or olive oil after blow drying helps too!

West Indian Aiyah My crown is high porosity and it breaks so much and is always so dryyyy and won’t grow as fast as the back and sides but the rest of my hair is definitely low porosity!
