Great video Dee and yes, food has been many many things to me and continues to be. I don’t eat when I’m just hungry. I eat for many reasons now I’m just trying to make better choices day by day.

So right! I don’t deny and track everything . One if the things I like about WW are the recipes that help me stay on plan . I recently went back to the WW app for that reason. I like the idea of portioning small treats you gave 😊

Thanks Denise! We’re having barbecue chicken that I make it home so I can control the amount of sauce. Period. I’m making potato salad with light mayonnaise so I’m hoping that will lighten it up and still get the flavor that we want and then we’re having baked beans from (A can that are not perfect, but it’s way better than the ones that I used to make where I added a half a bag of brown sugar. So that’ll be the main meal and then I plan to get breakfast which I do a lot anyway not just cause it’s the fourth, but I’m not gonna use an excuse to make cinnamon rolls since like we typically would do. My family is not really happy about that lol and I’ll probably do a very light lunch maybe scrambled eggs

You are so right Dee - don't go to a party hungry! I actually prevent hunger throughout the day by eating every few hours. It has made such a positive impact in my eating habits and my relationship with food :)

Going to a barbeque on the 19th for my hubbys VA low vision support group . I decided i have to eat a snack before I go and i will volunteer to bring a side ( which will be gluten free for hubby and WW friendly for me 😁). I will have a hamburger ( no bun) or piece of chicken but pass on the hot dogs as they dont tempt me. Not sure what else they will have but I hope I will follow mindful eating. This is a NSV for me cause the old me would just avoid going

I have tried to get to my DL weight, I made that my goal, ever since I rejoined WW May 2018. Still have not reached it. I was 1.5 lbs above for about 15 minutes.🤬

Practice eating half of what you normally would eat. You are intuitively eating (because you are eating what you really want to eat and throwing away the counting and dieting mind set) but you are eating less. That is my summer reset.

I had a Dr many yrs ago who told me to cut everything I eat in half. No snacks and make ice water my friend. It worked. Wish I could get my head in the game to do that again
