Hello!!! There’s a law in physics called law of displacement …. If you eliminate something, you must replace it with something else. Sugar cravings won’t go away until the sugar molecule is replaced by an optimal substitute. I traded sugar and seed oils for butter and animal fat. OMG! I now feel satiated. No more cravings.

Ive been on carnivore for two months now and my body is doing much better! I do crave sugars though and heavy animal fats curb hunger and cravings. I noticed if I drink regular grocery store milk…any brand, it’s extremely sweet. Didn’t notice that before carnivore. When I drink fresh from the farm milk from a local farmer…tasty, satiating, and not as sweet.

that's too bad, I eat cake almost every day! I make it from scratch, sometimes it is sliced fruit with an eggy batter sweetened very lightly, include oats in batter or oat bran, even sometimes 1/4 cup wheat bran. bake it , eat a slice after dinner. go for a walk. I also love chocolate, I make chocolate mug cake, 1 egg, oats, ground flax, 2 chopped dates, a bit of butter, 1 tbsp organic cocoa, a splash of milk, stir well, nuke for a minute and a half. deelish. why give up what you love? just have a small amount. if you overdo, go for a 20 min brisk walk after. I even have Doritos or chips occasionally, but if the pkg says one serving is 10 chips, I only have 10 chips. in a bowl and put the bag away. easy!

But cheese or yoghurt is for some people already terrible adcice..So it is not THAT simple for everyone out there. My adcice if really nothing else works: lion diet with at least 30 days and introducing slowly one by one with food diary. Insane amount of discipline and work needed but then someone really knows his own diet

I was on a heavy oxalate keto Dr Gundry approved diet that was lectin free and heavy plant based for three years. I initially felt better off processed foods. Then felt worse. Low energy, sore joints, slow recovery from exercise, and kidney stones that required surgery. I had oxalate dust on my cheeks, coming from my eyes, and in my urine. When I quit that diet cold turkey for carnivore, I went through oxalate dumping (so painful). I’ve been carnivore for over a year now I feel great now. Lost 30 pounds, no more joint and foot pain, brain fog gone, corrected hormonal issues, better energy, improved muscle building, no more IBS! The list goes on. I only eat foods I like now and listen to my body.

I went thru exact same process as you! I was actually doing vegan keto. My diet was 100% high oxalate foods (tofu, almonds, spinach, avocado, etc.) I quickly ended up w kidney stones requiring 3 surgeries. One stone was 17mm. When I did BBBE carnivore I had a severe dumping... crystals in my hair and coming thru my skin while I slept. It's absolutely for real. However, I didn't experience pain w the dumping. Just fatigue & slept a lot. Carnivore I quickly lost 30 lbs but went off due to emotional eating. Still working on that part but I know for sure carnivore is best diet for me. I will say I think not everyone is as oxalate sensitive as others. Kidney stones run in my family but for sure oxalates are the source.

The only thing I'd add is increasing fermented foods for gut healthy. Also she could have emphasized collagen containing meats organ meats for more nutrients.

Doc Gundry's claim that grapes are worse than Hershey's bars because of sugar might be a bit misleading. Sure, grapes have sugar, but it's natural fructose, the kind our bodies are familiar with from fruits. Here's the real difference: Hershey's bars are loaded with high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which can cause blood sugar spikes and other health issues. Grapes, on the other hand, contain a unique compound called a resveratrol, a polyphenol with (potential) health benefits. Resveratrol activates sirtuins, proteins linked to healthy aging and cellular repair. In simpler terms, this means grapes may help mimic some of the benefits associated with calorie restriction, a practice known to promote longevity. More research required in humans. Think of it like this: a handful of macadamia nuts (around 16 grams of fat) might seem worse than a slice of pizza (around 10 grams of fat). But those macadamia nuts are packed with healthy fats your body can use. The pizza, while lower in total fat, might have more refined carbohydrates that can mess with your blood sugar. It's all about the type of fat and sugar you're consuming!

There’s more vitamin C and broccoli. Unless you’re buying organic strawberries over 75% of those strawberry are pesticides. Bon appétit. There’s tons of information regarding what I just wrote.
@astonuk9403
@astonuk9403 3 ай бұрын
@@Billy97ify Firstly, I agree with your point about fructose metabolism and its potential role in fat storage for energy reserves. It's an interesting evolutionary adaptation that serves some animals well. Our bodies efficiently process fructose, primarily in the liver through glycolysis. However, things can get trickier when key enzymes along this pathway malfunction. These defects cause several inherited recessive conditions, like fructose kinase deficiency. This condition leads to unconverted fructose ending up in the urine (fructosuria) and can increase the risk of early cataracts due to high blood fructose levels. Fructose intolerance, caused by another enzyme deficiency, results in issues like low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and potentially an enlarged liver (hepatomegaly). Thankfully, a fructose-free diet can manage these conditions. Beyond these rare genetic ailments, high fructose consumption can pose challenges for a healthy metabolism. When bombarded with fructose, the liver's processing pathway can become overwhelmed. This can lead to a domino effect: excess intermediates get diverted towards fat production, increasing triacylglycerols (TGs), the main fat carriers in the bloodstream. Studies suggest that high fructose intake can lead to higher blood TG levels compared to glucose. This, in turn, might contribute to an unfavourable lipid profile. High-fructose corn syrup made from corn starch is inexpensive to produce, making it a popular choice for manufacturers. However, HFCS is metabolised differently than glucose, the body's preferred energy source. Unlike glucose, fructose doesn't stimulate insulin release from the pancreas. Additionally, brain cells lack the specific transport protein needed to absorb fructose, preventing it from triggering satiety signals. This double whammy might explain why research suggests a link between HFCS consumption and increased appetite and obesity, particularly when compared to solid sugary foods. The evidence suggests the body doesn't recognise the energy from sweetened beverages in the same way as solid food. When we snack on cookies, we might unconsciously compensate for those calories by eating less later. However, with liquid calories from sugary drinks, we don't adjust our food intake accordingly, potentially leading to excess calorie consumption. Now, let's address the elephant in the room: should we ditch all fruits because of fructose? Thankfully, the answer is no. While the rare metabolic issues mentioned earlier are important to be aware of, they're uncommon. For most people with healthy metabolisms, moderate fructose intake, particularly from whole fruits, is well-tolerated.
@Billy97ify
@Billy97ify 3 ай бұрын
@@astonuk9403 "For most people with healthy metabolisms, moderate fructose intake, particularly from whole fruits, is well-tolerated." That is true , yes. Exactly the point. The reason we are having this discussion is that most modern populations have a very high rate of metabolic disease, especially in older ages, but even in young people. If you have a history of metabolic dysfunction, don't eat fructose. All fruits and honey have glucose with the fructose, just like cane sugar and corn syrup. Sure, healthy people can tolerate all kinds of junk eating until they can't anymore. I did for half a century myself. Where do you find these "most people with healthy metabolism"???
