Enjoyed the update as usual. Some good connections established despite that station being finicky. And the waited tram extension happened too. Is your deficit dropping? The drop in demand during beautification was a tad weird. Off camera minor residential expansion?

I am assuming you are talking about the residential demand? that has been it's trend. I ran it off camera for a few in games months and that is what I saw happening now and then. Been trying to monitor the amount of people moving out of the city. The deficit has been worse and right now we are about -900k/h. I have a few experiments I plan on running off camera to see what we can do but if you haven't yet, please make sure to jump over and vote in the poll :) I hope this past week has been good for you.

@@Na_MaPlays Ach! Thought it was 😠 Yeah I voted Thursday. I'm kinda torn because a lot depends on what still needs doing in PHC. If we're waiting on patches or DLCs then if they're close then wait until out. If too long then maybe start anew. But then unlimited cash would enable serious expansion without worrying about tile upkeep every 5 mins.

@@nealjroberts4050 agreed with the unlimited cash thats why i figured i'd throw it in as an option. I think no matter which way the vote goes my biggest priority is making sure everyone has fun with it. I still have over 10 episodes planned out (not include the 50th or 60th viewer suggested special).

@@sErgEantaEgis12 city planner and overcharged egg have been creating content much longer than I have ☺️ my channel will turn 1 year old this October. I am sure with time our community will grow as well. I actually do not have a background in city planning. I’ve been playing cities skylines games since around 2017 and really love city planning. I’m constantly reworking roads in my area and fantasizing about commuter trains reaching my town.

@@Na_MaPlays Montreal built a new light rail system connecting the south shore and every time I go visit my gf in Montreal I see it on the Champlain bridge and it makes me think of Cities: Skylines.

@@Na_MaPlays I wouldn't know, I never tried it. It's kind of infamous for being a "waste" of money because it came online just before Covid-19 and work from home made it basically obsolete and it has much less ridership than it was supposed to. I personally really love Montreal's metro, it's kind of ugly, a lot of stations are brutalist and minimalist but it's clean and reliable so it's basically "boring but practical".

If it works it works right? My area doesn't have public transportation. There is a bus technically that takes people from 'the city' (basically just a big residential area) to some of the major retailers but they don't really pick up anyone who may live away from the main roads... and honestly most of my area is not main roads lol. I'll admit I'd be that tourist who takes that light rail system just to experience it and see what sites there are.
