I had one, sold it, regretted, got it again. Such a fine piece.

One of the benefits of the 24-hour subdial is if you are setting the watch again you know where it is in the AM/PM cycle so you don't go passed and set yourself up for a lot of winding!

I've had a 3520.50 for years, LOVEIT, runs like a charm, idd +-5 sec a day of, i own a lot of other watches but this is one of my favorites
@DavesWatchLove4 жыл бұрын
It was absolutely the most beautiful and interesting watch I've ever owned, but with my eyeglass prescription, the only way I could see the watch clearly was to hold it about 18 inches away. By that point, I couldn't read the smaller dials. I literally tried talking my eye doctor into changing my prescription just so I could read that watch better. Didn't work out so I sold it. I wish it were a 41 or 42mm, at least that would have worked better for me. Well, enjoy that amazing watch!

Thanks for the review it was a good one. I own a later model purchased new in about 2014 with the black dial. The size is 40 mm. It keeps good time at +2 seconds per day. I sold a Seamaster to replace it with the Speedmaster day date because of the chronograph feature. I have other Omega's but this is my favourite watch. It is a solid well made watch and an object of functional beauty.

I bought the same watch some time ago; I really love the blue dial, and the fact that there's a dependable Valjoux 7751 inside.

Yes, I sold mine simply because it was too much information in too small a space. My old eyes couldn't adjust.40 or 41mm would seem about right.

I treated myself to this watch a few months ago and i love it. Its only my 2nd watch my everyday being a 1997 seamster blue dial or basicly the bond watch. My tripple date is my special special occashions watch. I love the seamaster becouse its so simple and clean, but i love my speedmaster tripple date becosue its coplicated. I've gone for both extreams. Paid £2000 for mine which came with box and papers from a reputable dealer.

Great looking watch, and good review. I been tempted to get one for quite a while now, but I would need to reset all three date functions every time I want to wear it or figure out where to put a watch winder in the apartment. I have given up on the idea of a triple date at this point for this reason.

This was first luxury watch. I bought it brand new in 2007 while on mid tour leave from Afghanistan. Bought it wore it took back overseas. This watch hasn’t been babied at all. Between all the afghan “moon dust” and daily wear its still a tank of a watch. When I first purchased it I did try on the professional, and being fairly new to higher end watches I was turned off by the mechanical ⚙️ winding and its size. Fast forward to 2022 and I wish I would have bought both! In the near future I will definitely be adding to my collection with the original speedy. Cant have one too many!

I have this watch. Its my special ocashions watch and i think a good investment over time as they don't make them in tripple date anymore. 39MM is fine on me as i have small wrists so it looks normal sized on me. I use a blue wave dial 38mm seamaster as my everyday watch.

I have a question regarding the month function, does the watch detect the 30 and 31 days for each month? (Hopefully 28 days for Feb) too.

Im about to buy one very similar, the difference is the besel on mine is made from 18kt solid gold and the crown and other two gold plated and the bracelet have gold lugs the middle ones

Does anyone know the difference between the speedmaster 3521.80 and the speedmaster 3523.80? I am undecided if there are clear distinctions.
@DavesWatchLove5 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. The only difference I see is in the 24 hr subdial at 9 o'clock. The 3523.80 has numerals every three hours. The 3521.80 has the numerals every two hours. Other than that, I don't see a difference.

No, just military time, does help with knowing wether the watch is at am or PM for setting the date if you haven't worn the watch and are setting it again

I bought mine a couple of days ago for a little over 2 grand. Worth every penny imo. It's a phenomenal watch, gives you everything you need and more. I'd literally take this watch with me to the grave lol But I was wondering, what's the lug to lug size on this watch? I've been meaning to change the strap and I'm not really sure tbh
@DavesWatchLove Жыл бұрын
Hey there. Great watch and yes, one to love and hold on to. The lug width for a strap is 18mm. I don't know what the lug to lug distance is across the watch from one end to the other, if that's what you were asking. Hope that helps!
