Brandi I feel like you made this video just for me! 😂 First of all you used my EXACT leave in/heat protection combo: Mizani 25 Miracle Milk and the AffirmCare Laminate Spray - per your recommendation. It is an awesome duo for smooth, hydrated, shiny hair! I’ve been using the Mizani product for two months now and I love it; add the laminate spray and you’ve got gold on your hands! Secondly I just received the same haircut along with my color! My hair was driving me crazy; it was all one length because I’ve gotten trims rather than a legitimate hair cut for SHAPE for the last two years! My hair was like a long mop on the top of my head, and I needed some layers and some texture real bad 😩 I’m soo happy with the movement and freshness of my hair now…you are spot on with having a real haircut as opposed to just trimming up the ends; it always makes a world of difference! Thanks for coming through with another informative and educational video for us! 💕

Thanks so much for saying the balance is needed regarding moisture and protein. I wash every two weeks at the salon, and I always do a deep conditioner with both, and my hair is thriving. I am relaxed and I do not play in my hair, no protective styles other than a bun around the house and no food items. I eat my spices, avocados etc. whatever is the food du jour for putting in your hair. I do miss the curls I had at just past my shoulders and I had to get comfortable with it. I would love to try layers, but I am not sure. I have body but not as much as I would like.

🙌🏾Yes to all of this! As for layers; try long layers and a face frame… less is more sometimes! ♥️

Everytime I use a protein conditioner my hair breaks off so I am afraid to use it. It's weird because I have HP hair but it is protein sensitive.

Love the Silk Press. Thank you for also showing how you trim your client's hair 💜 Do you have a video post on the moisture mask process?? I have 4c Low porosity hair, but I need to improve on my moisturizing technique & trim maintenance.

Wow this hair looks SO GOOD AND HEALTHY. I wish I was in your city cause I would book NOW 😂 but seriously you did your thing. I have locs and been thinking about combing them out in August but want to retain more length so watching this makes me want to comb them out for sure! I love taking care of my hair and these locs have really annoyed me with the loose hairs breaking off and just the dryness. I LOVE YOUR HAIR CARE ! Super satisfying. She has beautiful hair!

Hi Brandi…1st let me say your work is amazing!…And one day I WILL (in the name of Jesus) fly my butt from Wisconsin to Georgia to have you do my hair. With that being said I have a two part question….What are some questions and things to look out for to find a quality stylist? I want to find some one in my area ( Milwaukee) with a “Brandi like philosophy and knowledge on hair health, color, cut”? Also I want to grow out my natural hair ( I have 4c low porosity twa). What advice can you give to retain length and health of scalp? Thanks

❤️❤️Thank you so much, yes I’d love to service you 💕 As for finding a good stylist, the gold is found in the consultation. This is when you can express your concerns, issues, questions etc. you can also get a feel for the stylist to see how interested they are in 1) servicing you and 2) learning what you like and helping you achieve your hair goals. An exceptional hairstylist is always interested in making you glow! Sometimes that requires saying no to a client because everything isn’t always about giving people what they want. Look at their work extensively (I had a client watch me from ig for 2 years lol), their manners, and pay attention to the questions they ask you. Great stylists ask detailed questions and try to get to know you! That’s the game changer! I’m wishing you the best of luck on your journey of finding a great stylist! ❤️❤️
