Beautiful color! You did an excellent job on blending. Sometimes I don’t think people realize that wet hair will tell you the true status of your hair. If your hair is damaged, wet hair will tell on you.

Soo much important information as per usual! I was emphatically told (by my now stylist) not to play myself and try to color my own hair at home. I was told I had no clue how much product I would need and that I was going to end up back at the salon with cheetah spots in my hair for a color correction 🥴. I told her I wouldn’t dream of doing it myself and that’s why I was there! 😂 She said “okay because even if you don’t get it done with me, I’m begging you not to do it at home; find another professional”.

Thank you for thus wonderful education. A lot of other stylist mention not to put hair in protective styles cuz they are damaging. So your vid made me wonder what styles do you suggest that we do other than protective styling?

💖You're welcome! Protective styling isn't necessarily bad, but it's all about balance. I always suggest going to a haircare professional because they should be able to help you reach your hair goals.

I don’t know if this is what you mean but I have noticed that my hair feels and looks better with silk presses and wrapping my hair every night, gentle brushing, and not manipulating my hair unless it’s wash day. People noticed my hair growing and I realized I must be retaining more length with this new routine vs keeping back to back protective styles in because of the lack of oxygen and brushing to distribute the oils in my hair. Anyways, loved this video. I love coming across your channel because you do hair so well!

Yeah I stopped doing rinses at home furthermore true color! You are very talented at flattering coloring. I have never considered protective styles for hair growth, I call them convenience styles. I wear my hair wrapped or in a bun so I keep out of it.

I think this women was using purple shampoo on her hair alot of times before doing her hair in this video so her blonde hair color would stay light in color and so it won't darken
