Honestly I personally would not care what a viewer would say! You've done a magnificent job in that room and of course when I saw the orange going on the wall I wonder where the hell is he going with this? I have said before I've got an enormous trust in your vision; knowing that there is trim on the woodpanling . That is the perfect size. Never question your decisions; it's your Chateau no one should have the ability to question your direction. Let them undertake this massive project. Love you guy's! ❤

We had artists mold and shape the past, like Van Gogh, and now we have people like you. You are an amazing modern artist. It is such a wonderful privilege to be able to watch, as you create beautiful art in this era. Your beautiful creations will bring so much joy to people now, and far into the future. Such meticulous work! But the mirror deserves to be brought back to its former glory days. It’s a real beauty! I love the moldable trim you put on the ceiling. Again, it’s so amazing to see how modern technology has made the master craftsmanship of the past accessible to us. And these materials are probably not subject to infestation the way the old materials were. What could be better? Learning from the great masters… then making it better! This is such an education for an old 74 year old lady like me! Thank you… and crack on!

I just wanted to say, that I really enjoy, watching you restore - not just the Chateau, but also furniture, chandeliers and, like today, mirrors 😊 So much, that I think you could do episodes on that, sort of like a more in depth, step-by-step guide on how you do it? 😊 I have taken on a few, tiny projects myself, and it is a great way, to be able to get things, you might not be able to afford otherwise 😁 I can see that giant candelabra, lying next to the mirror... And one little tip, I would give, is that if you want to recreate a guilt bronze look, you get the best results by using gold leaf. It works really well, especially on fx chandeliers, because if you just clean them, the metal will just darken again - and rather quickly. If you like the antique look, you can choose to only do it in certain areas, but it really ads some extra warmth and sparkle! 😊

The mirror restoration is looking fine. If you're looking to have the mirror fade into the background, then just paint it. But, if you want the mirror to draw attention, then gild it. My personal choice,Terry, would be to gild it. The mirror is beautiful, let it shine. I like your choice of molding for the coving. I'm anxiously anticipating your finishing touches. Ash, I love how you support Terry and gaze at him with that "you've got this" expression and "you know best, don't second guess yourself." May your special connection last your entire lives. 😊 🫂
