So happy that I found an honest entrepreneur on YT. I'm tired of many "bros" on X/Twitter who claim they reached 100k MRR, 200k MRR in a couple of months time just to sell shovels for other aspiring solopreneurs. Thanks to KZbin algorithm! I've been following you for little over a month. Your content is invaluable for aspiring solopreneurs! Keep it up.

love your content. I was wondering why you build a mobile and web app, instead of a PWA? Or did you maybe consider a PWA, but decided otherwise?
@YourAverageTechBro16 сағат бұрын
I think it's just because I know mobile/web app and didn't want to learn something new for a PWA. didn't want to reinvent the wheel

I have a question about making the first dollar with a Saas product. What's the best place to start in terms of releasing an app to the public? I have apps that work on my computer but I'm not sure how to get them to other people and what even to charge them. Thanks!

if it's a website, then you have to deploy your website onto some hosting platform (I personally use Vercel). If you're building a mobile app, you need to submit your app to review in the apple app store and google play store.

Are you using EAS with expo? Or where did you deploy it?

I'm curious, why not use whisper over assemblyai?
@YourAverageTechBro15 сағат бұрын
I believe assemblyAI handles longer recordings/larger files "out of the box" compared to whisper (at least last time I checked)
@mirzabiz14 сағат бұрын
@@YourAverageTechBro interesting. what about cost. you should def look into whisper. would u consider whisper if u were starting out now?
@YourAverageTechBro14 сағат бұрын
@@mirzabiz hard to say. I think I’d still go with assembly for the longer recording support for now. I’m okay paying a little more for now as I can always do cost cutting later on
