Haha! Nothing better than new bike day! Been looking at this frame because I'm a climber so when I upgrade I just want to be able to swap over all my ultegra gear from my other bike and the wheelsets etc. Only thing is the geometry which is a bit different so have to make sure I get the right size frame!

Never ended up making one, i regreted going for rim brake. Still a good bike but I prefer the T1500!

Hey! It's indeed cool that they still offer rim brakes version!!!!! I'm a racer and most of the time in a agressive aero position, so I don't mind the lower stack height of the smaller frame. Maybe you should go for medium! All the size specs/charts is listed on their website

@@CharlesOuimet I just bought this frame in size M! Only things I would like personally is a steeper seat tube angle and a BB386EVO for better compatibility with DUB cranks rather than BB86, but it should be fine. Otherwise it looks perfect, looking forward to build it and your video :)

I would avoid trifox at any cost, I received one and never build because I'd be scared for my safety. The handle bar I received is not even round and don't fit the fork, and there is paint on top of the caliper screw. Go winspace

I have direct mount brakes dura ace 9100 and they are great. With carbon rims and AliExpress pads they perform very well I'm impressed. Significant better than ultegra r8000 normal version. More brake power and less vibration with direct mount brakes and much easier to adjust.

I'm a huge fan of Fibrax Red on my alloy wheels, especially on my vintage single pivot brakes, I've got modern everything else on one of my vintage bikes but could not change the brakes as part of it is brazed onto the frame..... Because the pads are so soft and the single picots are not as powerful, I get the modulation which is lost with sticky pads and it brakes as good as my dual pivots with standard black pads. Anyway, if you like value...... I'm not sure if I would trust Ali pads on my beautiful carbon wheels, Fibrax do carbon pads also clarks blue pads are their softest for carbon wheels.

For a sub 900g carbon framet set with carbon seat post, yes it's more on the affordable side. Get the equivalent in Trek, Specialized, and all the other one and you're looking at 2000-3000$ for the framset (if not more)
