Thanks for your work and good luck (my 1st time seeing your material) on your channel. This has been a two year process for me. Finished breaking in my 1723s Towers and I had heard some report that they need a little more power to come alive. They will serve as the LCR's. At the wide's will be 1961 Bookshelves and sides 1961 Monitors. Finally, the rears will be 1723 heights speakers. I'll let you know how the sound after we move them into the theater room. Thanks to Shane, Steve, Erin and The Audioholics crew for all the help on the component choices. Arendal's great service team and Steve on the design. Lastly, the bass will be handled by 2 Monolith 15's and we have two 12's for backup. ;-)

I have the 1723 arendals..I Came from klipsch and I'm happy with my purchase. My arendal center channel was a night n day difference over my klipsche. I also hv the 1723s for surrounds. Glad your happy. My next upgrade is a processor. I hv an onkyo rz50 might b getting the Anthem avm90

Beautiful speakers. Congratulations. I'm not sure but I think the monitors should play either just as good or better than the 1961 towers. Awesome 👍 The only thing I don't like about Arendal speakers is they are so expensive. Even the surrounds and height speakers you can't catch a break.

Grab some play sand or kitty litter and fill those stands. Makes a big difference.

At various times I noticed that you referred to these by two different valid model names -- the 1723 and the 1723S. I'm pretty sure that these are the S's but just to be sure?

Yeah, you have a good point. You really don't want to move the 1723 towers often. They are 110lbs a peice. They are extremely well built, solid, and a dense speaker. My recommendation is to buy a carpeted floor furniture sliders. Makes life easier when positioning heavy speakers.
