Definitely one of the best 1/144 builds I have seen on KZbin, lots of detail like weapon markings that would usually get overlooked

Excellent build. That shine on the canopy is amazing. Almost crystal clear. And yes the blue stripes indicate dummy weapons.

Next time try this instead, gloss varnish, decals, gloss varnish, oil for weathering. maybe you will have a more uniform finish between the model and the decals. you can spray a mat varnish at the end to remove the glossy effect if necessary
@Starfishscalemodeling7 ай бұрын
@@TheNeo06660 That's what I do mostly nowadays. Sadly there's still no guarantee that it prevents silvering, especially with bad decals that don't have enough adherence.

I think it looks rather good sir. Shame the decals were so thick. Hasegawa decals tend to be thick and difficult to get thinned. Revell usually are pretty good. Overall still a good build. 👍

A really smooth gloss coat will eliminate the silvering. No amount of setting solution will help if the surface is not completely smooth - the surface unevenness is just too small for the solution to help conform.

Most people don't realize that no matter what you post on KZbin if you get 1,000,000 likes you get 1,30,000$ every million likes. I'm looking for the biggest scale plastic model and 3D printing out of foam make my own EDF r,c helicopters and jets. I've been flying r c helicopters and jets for 20 years and at the moment I'm building an Airwolf 1,72 with my XK 130 electric r,c helicopter scale product plus I'm building a F-15 balsa wood kit to 30mm EDF 6 channel flying model then when I find Reveals biggest plastic then I'm up scaling to foam EDF jet's with the process of turbine or glow or electric or pulse but I will be building a flying r,c jet that started off as a kit for looks that will go at least 140 mph.Jason Falcon 76.
