The white 911 934 looks fine, but orange version looks even better (faster😏? ). Basic are very important. This video is truly relaxing. Clean and even paint job! Shaken, not stirred! 😉

You've probably done this before but are you able to display or demonstrate the safety respirator that you use? I am new to airbrushing and have been exploring respirators and there are a great many! It seems that those with the filters A1P2 or A2P2 are the way to go. I've read that P3 is a bit pointless unless you have a full face mask. I also see that many bloggers use 2pack or 2K finishes and all of the respirators I've seen exclude 2K paints. Not that I would ever get to that level. At the moment I'm looking at half face mask respirators.

Hi John! Interesting question. I had almost forgotten how I chose my respirator. As far as I recall, I went to the OHS shop and asked the seller. I was advised to buy an A1P1 and 3M 6200 half facepiece respirator. I think P3 is a bit excessive; I would go for either P1 or P2. The seller told me that for modeling, the spray dust is the most worrying, as you keep your nose quite close to the painting object, so P2 or P1 should be more than enough. In the case of the cartridge, A1 should be fine and replaced once you sniff the smell of the paint. This 3M respirator is pretty good: I have been painting while my fiancee was making a cheesecake. I got out of the room, went to the kitchen with the mask on, and couldn't smell what she was baking. When I took my mask off, the cheesecake smell hit my nose with full power. 😄

@@AdHocCars thank you so much for your quick reply. It's a bit strange but there are no safety shops near me but only hardware stores that don't carry a small size - we only have big beefy tradies here. But many thanks for your advice.

@@AdHocCars yes! Watching it now. Many thanks.

@@johncater7861 you are welcome! I thought that these kind of things are available in almost every DIY/Hardware, maybe not always it's a 3M brand but similar ones 😀
