It is about Scooter Braun the line he crossed was buying Big Machine to get her first 6 albums. And the wife did divorce him and is driving his Benz. The awards thing is old news. When Kanye put a song out called Famous, he put in the song that he made that b!tch famous, before he did that he had called Taylor (filmed and recorded) to see what she thought of some lyrics, which was "I think Taylor Swift might owe me sex" and some others, but he did not mention the I made that b!tch famous. When the song came out, Taylor spoke up, which Kanye had to know she would. He and his now ex-wife edited the tape to make it sound like she acknowledged it, then they posted it on social media, Kim started calling Taylor a snake and a liar, and pretty soon the hate got to be too much and Taylor disappeared for close to a year, and she came out swinging with her Reputation album and the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video". About 3 years ago someone leaked the unedited tape on YT showing who the real snakes were.

She talks in another song, “Mad Woman” about ‘good’ wives always knowing when their man isn’t being faithful. I have always put the two together for some reason, I could be wrong. So, “the envelope”, I think, is the proof that he’s not been faithful. Proof that his wife needed, to get out of the toxic environment. Like, Taylor helped her. I've seen a few male reactors go in thinking that Taylor is this sweet, 19 year old Disney princess because she's frozen in time for them (often going back as far as the Kanye incident). Then they see grown up Taylor in some of these videos of her more recent work and start realizing that she is very talented and versatile and much deeper than her radio hits. Even if there's a particular song you don't like, listen to another and you get a whole other side to her. And her lyrics are always next level. She's worked really hard on her stage craft; the Eras tour was choreographed by Mandy Moore, who has worked on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars among other work. She also worked with Tay's good friend Emma Stone doing the choreo for La La Land. Looking forward to your next reaction.

It's about revenge to Scooter. The envelope contained pics & Taylor helped his wife divorce him. ~ And the cool thing about Taylor, is she has so many sides. Each album introduces us to a new Taylor. The reason the Era's tour is so great is that Taylor sings 44 of her hits. I do not know how she can, with this level of energy, but she does it. I read that she sang all 44 while running on her treadmill, for the full 3.5 hour concert. If you watch the Era's performances, she isn't even heavy breathing after dancing & singing. I think she 'slows it down ' to rest a bit, by doing something mellow on her guitar or piano & then she is back to kicking ass again. She is a badass woman. She has grown so much, since doing this for over half of her life. I have just rediscovered her since watching reactions. I knew her when she was young & doing country. Her voice is great; however her writing is incredible.

I always interpreted the “he was doing lines” part as him acting like an actor (so not as himself but playing a role). And it’s def about Scooter and a bit about Kanye. The verse about his wife getting his benz and a divorce is 100% Scooter. Plus many months after this song was released it was said that he actually was being investigated by the FBI bc of illegal things he also did with the masters of many other artists (Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande dropped him suddenly all at once in august 2023). Almost certain it’s directed at Scooter. This is a fictional song (pretty sure…) based on a revenge fantasy of Swift’s. Just so happened, though, that Scooter’s wife ended up divorcing him and was dealing with a 200M lawsuit against him (charges included fraud). Don’t know what became of it or if it’s still going on… haven’t looked it up. There’s no concrete reason for believing Swift had anything to do with that stuff… but she’s sure enjoying taunting him. 😉

Another lyric that I wonder about in this was “I don’t dress for villains or for innocents”... on speak now, she has a song called Innocent that she wrote for Kanye essentially forgiving him for the vma moment. You say her willing to put the different sides out is why she is so loved. It's true for her Swifties. Many have grown up with her going from teen and young romance to the positive energy and fun of the young adult to the more mature grown up. And they have been through the things that Taylor has and written about. Taylor knows their life. a lot of people think her fan base are 14 year old girls. I see it as women in the 20s and 30s. With younger fans coming along later as they now grow up. It is fun to see people in the reactions suddenly realize Taylor is a grown woman now. It shocks some who thought her at a permanent teen hood. This song is about Braun. And things happened like his divorce and being investigated by the FBI. Taylor despises him. One thing. There was a bigger incident with Kanye after the awards show thing. He called her in 2016 to inform her she was in one of his songs and to get her okay. The whole thing stunk. Set up. After talking to her and Taylor having a problem with part of what the song said. Kim recorded it and cut out parts of the tape to make it seem Taylor was fine with it all. They went public and when Taylor said oh, no. She did not give her okay Kim played the manipulated tape. It sounded like Taylor was lying. Kim told people she was a snake. The internet and media went after Taylor viciously. It got so bad that Taylor left the country for a year and hid out. She would not talk to friends, trusted no one and was totally destroyed. Her career virtually done. She then came back in 2017 a changed person and put out the album Reputation. The video, Look What You Made Me do, from the album is about this and Kanye. Taylor came back to settle scores. With the entertainment media, Kanye, Braun, etc. She was sick of getting kicked.

And the award show thing isn’t what kept the Kanye feud alive. Taylor forgave him for it and they were friends for a bit. The issue is every single time she tried to be his friend he backstabbed her. This happened more than once. After the vma thing he ended up sending her flowers and they hung out at events and parties and publicly supported one another. Then he was being honored with a vanguard award and personally asked Taylor to present it to him onstage and she agreed because again she thought they were friends. He accepted the award from her and then pretended the vmas forced him to receive the award from Taylor to make him look bad. Said this onstage to humiliate her again on the same stage he’d done it for the first time years earlier. He apologized privately and again she forgave him. Then he Illegally recorded a conversation about the line “I feel like me nd Taylor might still have sex.” In the song famous. She okayed it because she wanted to keep the leave but she is clearly heard in the audio saying that she was glad that was all it was because she had been afraid he was gonna call her a bitch in the song and she didn’t think was okay. He said of course not he wouldn’t do that to her. Then the song came out and the full lyric was heard “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? I made that bitch famous.” More than the word she didn’t being used she was more upset that he tried to take credit for her years of hard work and success, everyone who has worked with her speaks extensively about her insane work ethic and how involved she is in every aspect of her career and works harder than any artist in the industry. At the Grammys that year I think it was 2016 she made a speech while accepted her award about how it’s important to not let other people try to steal your success or take credit for your hard work. A few months later the phone call that was recorded and edited by Kim kardashian was leaked and was so heavily edited it made Taylor look like the liar. Years later in I believe 2019 the full unedited phone call was released proving Taylor was telling the truth. The crazy thing is Kim and her sisters so heavily speak out against being bullied by people online and the media but Kim is STILL bullying Taylor. Just the other day she was seen on Instagram or TikTok liking posts making fun of Taylor. I guess bullying is only bad when the KarJenners are on the receiving end of it in Kim’s eyes.

One of my favorite things about Taylor is she takes what is said about her and either makes it her own as a joke or says “watch this”. People have said Taylor isn’t sexy. Which really is ok but women are put against other women and there are a lot of women that do the sexy thing. Taylor said you want sexy - I’m giving it my way. Blank Space was created because the media said she dated too many guys and pretty much any male she was seen with was believed to be a romantic connection. She took the person the media was making her out to be and created a story for it. When she was younger (19-22ish) someone made a comment about her writing songs about boyfriends that make the guy look bad. She said if the boys don’t want me to write bad songs about them then they should do bad things. Which is the truth but brings it back to how the victim is often blamed when SA happens. It is amazing to watch her making history.
