Welcome to the Atmacoustics channel! I make a lot of acoustic shorts for my Patrons on Patreon, and I ended up with a large amount of them that have gone unused, so I figured why not upload them here?

One of my favorite things about this whole sequence is that as it goes on, he's progressively joined on his lonesome walk by more and more Waddle Dees. Even though he has, at this point, been thoroughly disgraced by Kirby, and even though he's treated them so harshly, they still follow him into the setting sun. It's frankly adorable how loyal they are.

He seems to actually see the waddle dees as more of siblings as I think in Kirby’s epic yarn he says, “you can’t be mean to my waddle dees, only I can be mean to my waddle dees,” that’s a very sibling thing to say.

If Jonny really tried, he could become an acoustic legend. He doesn't because he doesn't want to steal the spotlight from people who really need and desire the spotlight. That, and he doesn't want to use more than 20% of his power and kill us all. That's my head cannon, at least.

As the no longer king gets kicked out of his self proclaimed rule, he meanders into the desert, defeated fair and square. He hears a sound of the same moping speed as his, he looks behind to see all his surviving waddle dees rambling after Bandanna Waddle Dee. They soon catch up to the king, attempting to confort his former majesty, but Dedede keeps meandering, off farther into the sunset. I like making stories like this corresponding to songs, and this is what I could think of.

I like to think that this is canonically what happened between Kirby's Dream Land and Kirby's Adventure, where Dedede went through something of a small redemption and went from being purely selfish and greedy to at least having good intentions... for the most part.

You arranged this so well! I like it more than the original. I'm always a little frustrated when the original song doesn't play all the same notes as this one. And it's usually the other way around.. (with others' covers of course, yours are 100% perfect)
