i’ve always thought that Heather is so traumatized over Erica’s choice because of religious guilt/trauma. She definitely needs to deal with that for herself instead of projecting it on her sister though

I looked it up one day, and "Tall, Dark, and Handsome" meant tall handsome guy with dark hair. I've seen so many shows do the "dark" as in a dark tan, so you're not an idiot.

I always get sick and tired of Scott trying to "win" Kathleen back, but then gets pissed when she rejects him. It's like "Dude, do you not understand that you put her through the beatings?". He should be in jail for life. Also, I read somewhere that the actor who played Scott was charged (arrested) for child pornography. The irony. The way Claude left Caitlin to avoid getting caught by the cops is messed up.

So much to say but I will say this: Congrats on the new living space! It looks great! One thing I appreciate about Degrassi High is that the storylines played out the whole season and it wasn’t just like an one episode thing like TNG (ex Manny’s abortion which was a one and done thing but then again they have so many people they need to write plots for🤷🏾‍♀️) I think the reason why Heather was acting the way she was is because she has guilt over what she did. She needs therapy! Proud of Erica for being a good sister and giving her grace when she didn’t have to! I’m glad she didn’t have the mindset like Heather and did what she had to do by using the resources in front of her.👏🏾. (Heather was stopping Erica from living her best life😂🤦🏾‍♀️) (it’s funny the person who didn’t get the abortion is having nightmares 😂😂maybe it should be the other way around (not saying that Erica should feel guilty) but I understand why they gave this plot to Heather). If someone did what Cluade did to Caitlin to me it’s over! But wait untill season two and what they do with Claude’s character😭. Also with Claude I wonder if they’re any good guys in this show! Seeing Tessa say yes to the date with Scotter is so interesting as I know what happens to her later on 🤪. I don’t know what Luke is talking about Aruthur not taking chances cause the last time you did something wild, your friend (Shane) ended up doing some crazy things!

I completely forgot that Scott continued to stalk Kathleen. I thought that only lasted 1 episode after she broke it off with him. I definitely forgot he hit her after she ended their relationship.

Therapist here: Everyone experiences trauma differently. I give the example that technically, me dropping my pen could be considered a trauma... for me. As someone else said, it might be due to religious guilt or trauma. Another thing I might consider is due to her being a twin, she might just be "more in tune" with her sister, and feels that it was HER that went through the procedure. It hurts Heather that it doesn't hurt Erica as much.

The thing that I enjoy about the later seasons of TNG the most is that the storylines do continue over time, similar to Degrassi High. Yes, it leads to some long ass seasons, but you get more in-depth views of how the situation impacts the characters long-term. Also, I do think with Manny’s abortion, they would’ve probably talked about it more if it wasn’t banned in the US. It would lead to a lot more editing for the US crew if they talked about it, since not a lot of people even knew that the abortion episode even happened here since the internet wasn’t as wide-spread back then to get clips from the Canadian airing.

Arthur distanced himself earlier this season or last (I can't remember) when Yick asked him to hang out with his new friends at the mall. Arthur ditched Yick to hang out with his mom and talked about his entire summer in Paris without asking Yick how his summer was. So Arthur was snobbish which led to Yick finding new friends. Claude was a poser and coward; Heather seemed jealous of Erica.
