Error on the beginning of the video- said Right Mirror - Should have said Left Mirror. After the first setup, The striped cone was in view. Used two more small setups to get the left rear cone in sight.

OMGGGGGGGG ❤❤❤❤. I literally failed my skills test 5 times on the old maneuvers. My instructors failed me so much. They weren't teaching us much and when we made mistakes they didn't care to help us fix it so I was transferred to the new maneuvers. Again they were failing me because they weren't properly teaching me but I said I wasn't gonna test again until I was ready. I viewed this particular video for 2 weeks in a row at least 10 times a day. I took my skills test again for the 6th time and passed with flying colors because of your videos. I truly appreciate you. I wish you were my instructor I would've passed on the first try. Thank you so much ❤🎉

I’m having trouble with this maneuver. I get my trailer to where it’s angle into the box but I always feel like I don’t have enough room for my tractor to clear the first cone as I make my turns to get the truck straight into the box. Any tips for this? Hope that made sense lol

Also whenever I follow my instructors steps on when to start my first couple of turns I always end up with like 4-5 feet from the left set of cones, we use 40ft trailers, should I maybe start my turns when the front most trailers tires are at the cone so I can get that 2 yards of space?

It’s all about a good setup. If the rear of the trailer (40 to 48 foot trailer) is one to two yards heading into the alley ( near the rear cone). You should never hit the top cone when backing in. View all the videos- to understand what I’am talking about. To understand the concept - trust your self. Once you learn how to control the movement of the trailer, you be okay. Keep practicing when you make a mistake, ask yourself “What did I do wrong?” Do it as many times as possible- no excuses. Keep practicing

@@truckerstevecdlinstructor thank you, the last class I went to do the maneuver one more time before class ended and the students in my group said I had it perfect but I second guessed myself and used a pull up. So I think it may just be me getting in my own head about it. Thank you for the videos, really helps a lot!🤝🏾
