I have only started doing Ashtanga yoga with you nearly a year ago. I was practicing Bikram yoga before, and I realized that I really don't have that much strength in my upper body. I am learning a lot from your Ashtanga yoga challenge, thank you so much for doing all you do. ❤

Hi Kino, thank you for beautiful, clear and precise instruction. I never kept my feet flat on the groud with this asana, only my heels....This significant twist has modified my routine excercise into another level .....A complete different sensation in my body. More demanding though.

Thank you so much Kino. Thanks to your tutorial, I've finally understood why I couldn't drop my head back when doing this challenging asana. Following your advice, I moved my shoulders forwards and instantly my neck was able to move down freely. You can also do it from lying flat on back. Just externally rotate shoulders under you, opening the chest, lifting u an inch then squeeze glutes and lift them also about an inch and hold.

Hi Kino, thank you for your clear teaching. This pose is indeed hard. Should the feet be together, that's very hard, or can they be apart, more manageable. My feet on the floor puts all the weight along the outside length of the foot. If I roll my thighs in to get my feet flat, my legs bend at the knee. Therein lies the struggle.

It's amazing how much more comfortable this pose is after drawing my navel in and up. I think before I was just letting it pouch out from trying to lift up so much and it felt suffocating. Thank you so much for your wonderful explanations!
