I have a GE gfd85essnww dryer and when installing it it does not turn on. Do you have any idea what could happen? The dryer does not give any signal on the screen, on button, etc.

I would start by making sure the dryer is plugged in AND that the plug you’re using is working. Check the breaker and flip the fuse off the on (or “on, off, on) as sometimes breakers stop working but still LOOK like they are “on”. The article points out that you need a dedicated breaker for the dryer. I hope that helps. If the machine is new, GE customer care should be of some help.

I would have started the screws by hand to make sure they thread correctly, especially that last part cause it looked like you may have cross threaded it and had to use the drill again to force tighten it. overall well done.
