Great trick. Did with my daughter. Told her to blow, but she blew so hard all the cards turned face up! A second more gentle blow fixed it.

Coach, a very nice, clever routine, well-performed and well-explained. The revelation of a selected card reversed in the spread is a very magical effect to the spectators. I like how you have the spectator perform a magical gesture in a couple places in the routine. Involving them as active participants and having them "do the magic" is a good way to engage and captivate them. And the message of building self-confidence and believing in oneself as vehicles to attaining one's goals is pure gold. Thank you!

Great trick! I truly and honestly said, "Wow" when the selected and remembered card was revealed to be the only face up card in the spread. However, as an experiment to myself, you CAN begin the trick with the pre-arranged set-up already in place on the deck. After all, you are the magician and the magician controls what the spectators see or don't see. The magician guides the spectators down the path they want them to go, always. Such as when you have the spectator choose a card from the middle of the deck, or when you swing cut the top third of the deck and have the spectator choose a card from that portion etc. Just bring out the deck, tell them to choose a number between 1 and 10 (less than 10) and go right into the rest of the effect. This trick definitely goes into my repertoire today! As a performer of all genres of magic for close to 25 years, you CAN teach an 'old dog' new tricks!
