Reversing the Pattern of Feasting Then Fasting

In Croatia we fast on Christmas Eve to remember the hardships of Joseph and Mary and to make the feast on Christmas Day even more enjoyable. 😊

There can't be any high if there isn't any low. Working for a goal and reaching it, is as good as it was hard to achieve. There are constants in all the religions/civilization, fasting is one indeed, but the larger one is Sacrifice. We know deeply and innately that it's needed, that's why the sacrifice has been seen in all great story telling all around the world. You need to give up something to get an equivalent exchange. That's why fasting because feasting makes us feel more fulfilled. We "deserve" it. This is part of the human experience, part of Reality.
